We're back to "doomed" again. The Sun must really have it in for the Bond Franchise. It must have ripped their dark little hearts out to publish those images of Craig working out and looking jacked in preparation for his return. I'm sure they would have loved to have a shot of Craig guzzling a pint and getting out of shape while he recovers.
It's really funny because Fukunaga has this rep as this really intense film maker who collaborates very well with others on the set, including both actors and crew. Truth be told, if crew members did have to work overtime, I would imagine they get very well compensated. Working on a film is not like a typical 9-5 job.

Not as well compensated as you might think. I had a friend who worked around the clock on a Bond & did indeed expect a big payout for his efforts but the pot was so large it entered a much higher tax bracket & said payout was pretty much wiped out by said tax bracket. This is the reason "crew gifts" (misappropriated props) were such an important element of the job until the producer's banned such practices!

From Die Another Day onward crew gifts became just that crew gifts be it a luggage tag set or a stool or bottle of bubbly signed by the principle actor. Previous to 2002/the 40th Anniversary, crew gifts were pretty much whatever the crew member in question had picked up & kept on set. On TWINE one adventurous chap helped himself to the radio control BMW Z3 miniature but had to return it a bit sharpish when they discovered it was missing. This "No Crew Gifts" policy is also why there are not too many major Daniel Craig pieces out there apart from the pieces Barbara and Michael donate to their nominated charities -{
Like most tab "stories" there could very well be some basis of truth but the particulars have been twisted into a negative spin.
It is not beyond the realm of possibility that the director was late to the set; however the reason for the lateness probably has nothing to do with video games. And yes, it would not be out of the realm of possibility that a crew member or crew members were annoyed. People get annoyed at things at work all the time. I think this one can be filed under the same title as the reports of Craig and Fukunaga
engaging in an intense argument......"BS".
I'm guessing that Boyle wanted to film HIS Bond film, but DC and the producers wanted something that follows Spectre along with all the other constraints that would entail joining a franchise, do's and don'ts of the characters etc.
I think that nothing of Boyle's script will be in Bond25. I think it's Purvis and Wade's script with extra work from Fukunaga, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Scott Burns.
Think im only 10% thru RDR2. Think ive no longer got patience for video games
Played it through in about a month, and I never do that! What a great game. I'm still popping in occasionally for the free-roaming post-game stuff.

I guess he was scheduled while Daniel had to have his ankle surgery. On the writer's Twitter account he declines to say when the article will be available. Hopefully, there will be some more Bond25 filming details in it.

Fukunaga didn't deny the Sun newspaper claim. He could have said it was total fabrication but he didn't. He did mention he has a relationship with the Playstation 4 which could suggest there is some truth to the claim? If he's a gamer it's possible he can't go without playing for six/seven months of filming. Guess we'll never know the 'truth'.
If you go the Sun website there's a link where you can contact the paper so any member of the Bond 25 crew can leak news or negative comment. It's easy to make up claims and sell them to the paper but I assume there's some duty of care (!) to check out their veracity. But 'duty of care' is not a virtue you associate with British tabloids!
If Bond is shown driving to the office in the AM Valhalla it would look strange, I think. If he's driving the car when visiting/infliltrating a very rich and sportscar centered location it's another matter. Dubai and St Moritz are examples of locations where the Valhalla would fit in naturally. That sort of car would look higly unusual in Norway and completly wrong in Cuba, but perhaps such cars are common in some places inJamaica or Italy?

Let's hope it gets blown up very quickly Mr Higgy Sir. The only thing Aston about that is the bonnet badge!
And yeah, the PS4 story is true 8-)
