I saw an TV interview of Daniel Dencik a couple od days ago. It wasn't new, since filming of NTTD was still going on. Dencik said he had a mustache because it was for his character. He also said the secrecy was incredible. When he landed in Jamaica he knew nothing of the character he was cast as. After he got in the car his driver handed him a sealed envolope with a single page about the character.
Only six posters? Bond, Q, Madeleine, Nomi, Paloma and Safin. Where are the others? Skyfall had 9 posters and Spectre 8. Why no posters for Moneypenny, M, Leiter, Waldo or Dali Benssalah or Billy Magnussen?
DC looking very SBS in the poster.... Things are really starting to ramp up for NTTD. Full teaser trailer Wednesday will be all over the 'net and on theater screens. It'll be interesting if EON, et al go all in and debut the full trailer during the Super Bowl.

A 30 second ad is running at about $5 million. Imagine what a 2:30 spot would cost. I can’t see them spending that kind of money on a single blast of advertising.
This is looking great! All the character posters are in the same style: water blue "007", brown background and the actors in dark blue. Q and Madeleine are the only ones who're unarmed and the ladies are more heavily armed than Bond. What sort of pistol is Ana de Armas holding?
The photo of Bond and Madeline is also good, especially Lea Seydoux looks great in that business outfit. I've never seen a promotional photo from a Bond film where Bond and the Bond girl seem at odds with each other. Madeleine seems to pull herself away from Bond.
The guns and this photo - are they trying to tell us something?
It's clear the PR campaign is going up a gear now.
Perhaps they didn't have any Walther PPKs nearby for the photoshoot and havd to improvise, like Connery and the air gun in the promotional photo for FRWL? )
I like the nickel for a change, but why does she have Bond's signature gun?
I think Nomi should have a more modern gun, perhaps the Walther PPS, instead of Bond's signature gun. The SW pistol will look like a Walther PPK to almost eeryone in the audience, so for movie purposes it's a Walther PPK. People will think "Look! Nomi even has a Walther PPK, just like Bond", not "it's a Smith & Wesson, not a Walther!".

Well right now she is being marketed more like female Rambo than female 007. She even has the knife on her chest.
Meanwhile Paloma is being marketed as what I would think of a female version of Bond. She wears a vesper dress, has a PPK propably on a thigh holster. Could be a bait-and-switch, although she is probably a femme fatale.
The handguns could just have been used for the photo shoot and not what is actually used in the film. With regards to Nomi, it wouldn't surprise me if she is portrayed as more than a bit of an overly aggressive blunt instrument, reflective of a younger, reckless Bond.

Pretty good looking, certainly more exciting than that previous poster that they released.
Craig looking purposeful. Malek looking rather villainous, no surprise! Lashana Lynch looking surprisingly military/special forces.

With that coat on, and his slightly Eastern looking features I couldn't help being reminded of this rendering of Doctor No...
Thanks i expect u2 die...good to see you around these parts again...

His holster is for a Sig, so that won’t fit )
I noticed the oversized holster and figured they just put the PPK in Bond's hand because it's his iconic gun.
This probably doesn't belong in the thread, but I'm interested to hear what you think are the mechanical shortcomings of the Smith & Wesson-made PPK.
She doesn’t. It’s a S&W PPK.

I previously owned one and it would not take certain brands of ammunition without jamming. So that is one definite shortcoming.
Is there a chance Bond is holding a new Walther PPK? I know they have retained the elongated beaver tail from the S&W run.
To the general public it's a Walther PPK, and I'm not sure I like it.
I took that statement of Signature gun, as in SKYFALL PPK/S-ignature. Just realised Shatterfang probably meant ‘signature’ in a different context.
