Finneas, Billie Ellish's songwriting brother, appeared on Jimmy Fallon. Jimmy brought up the Bond theme, in which Finneas was rather tight lipped about it, but said "it's coming soon, real soon"

Now we've had a Super Bowl TV spot, which will probably be used for social media, along with edits of the first trailer, I'm not expecting anything substantal now until the six week traditional marketing campaign kicks in, which is 4 weeks before a movie's release and two weeks after it.
The final trailer is usually out for the start of the four weeks before release, and the song is usually released 3-5 weeks before the release; so that is also about the start of the final 6 week campaign. I think the beginning of March will see that final trailer and song. Maybe the end of this month for the song, if Finneas' idea of 'coming soon' is three weeks.
There is the chance that Finneas was hinting that Billie would sing the new Bond theme at the Oscars.
She's due to perform there, and it would be phenomenal publicity if she sung her new NTTD song there. That us this coming weekend in the US

I thought the same but some say its unlikely because she would perform the title-song twice: this and next year for winning the "Best Song" and thats a good argument, we will see...
Not a very trustworthy quote, as the gunbarrel sequence has only cued up the opening credits on two occasions out of 24.
I think the important bit is that a gun barrel sequence has been filmed. The fact that the author is not a Bond film expert doesn't invalidate the simple fact a gun barrel sequence has been filmed.
I haven't checked the whole thread, so please forgive me if I'm asking an already-answered question.
Has any member already guessed the order of the movie? That is, do we have a general idea of the order of the sequences that have already been leaked? A basic plot structure? I think we aready know that the tactical gear will be used for the final sequence, but is there anything else? Thanks in advance.
Mods: if this post would rather be in the spoilers thread, just let me know and I'll delete.

This was my rundown on how I thought it would play out, but after seeing the Super Bowl TV spot I think anything after
maybe Someone's been overestimating the length of the movie based on the number of scenes times average scene length from past movies?
maybe Bond25 is going to be edited differently than previous Bond films, and more like those later episodes of Seinfeld, where a whole scene would be one single line of dialog or even just a reaction shot with no dialog, then quick-cut to the next scene. Thatd be a fine and tasteful influence to emulate.
Based upon the run time of 3 out of 4 of the Craig Bond films, my guess is that NTTD will clock in at around 145 minutes. I would be very surprised if it was less than 120 minutes.
That’s good news. I don’t think Bond films are that kind of movies.
Agreed. Just under 120 would be ideal. I was watching the Cary Grant classic “To Catch a Thief” last weekend, and it occurred to me how perfect the length was. Too often modern films just drag on and on. I don’t know if it’s poor editing, self-indulgence, or over-ambition. But most of the time it’s not warranted by the outcome.

Maybe, but I also speculated that: "there are scenes 243 and 253 because Fukunaga deleted huge numbers of scenes. If you look through the leaked Spectre script there are page and pages of scenes there either were never filmed or were cut. I could imagine that Fukunaga and Scott Burns tore a lot out and and added additional scenes, so that would explain the high scene numbers." https://www.ajb007.co.uk/post/966711/#p966711

I've long been a fan of the classic film noir thrillers of the 1940s and 1950s and one of the things that always really impresses me about those films is how almost all of them run to within a few minutes of a 100 minute duration. The films of that era have a discipline that I admire, and I wish was more common in popular film today. The number of action/thriller/blockbuster films that edge towards three hours is, in my opinion, quite unnecessary. I don't feel that they deliver more in terms of story than these older films do.
In the case of Bond, I think in general the ideal length should be around the 110-120 minute mark. I think many of the best Bond films fall within this range - although CR and OHMSS are two excellent films that are outliers.
In the Game Day trailer at 24 seconds, the ceiling behind Safin has a skylight in it similar to in the scene in Dr No when Professor Dent goes in to collect the spider.

Whether or not Malek's character turns out to actually be Dr No, I have to say that it would make me happy to see a new version of that iconic set from Dr No, easily my favourite bit of production design from any James Bond film. For this reason I also liked the design of the Perla De Las Dunas ceiling in QOS which had a circular shape with a sort of grid in it.
Oh cool, it was a pretty decent episode back in 2012 when he last hosted. It did seem like he struggled a bit with the comedy aspect of it though. Shame Eilish was the musical guest recently for the season opener back in September, it would have been great to have her on with Craig and potentially doing the title song as one of her performances.
Nice work by you. I like the melody very much....really has that classic Bond feel to it. Would love to hear the vocals performed by a really good vocalist and more out front in the mix (what you did was certainly good enough for a demo). The lyrics are good also, but I would venture to say with a bit more time you could take another pass at them and take things to an even higher level. I mess around a bit on guitar, but it's strictly pre-neanderthal level ) . I really appreciate your level of talent....it's truly a rare gift. -{
Cheers guys for the nice comments, yes I’m having problems getting good vocal quality, i really need to sort it out pronto! The bond stuff will continue, actually I was gonna put at the end of the video... ‘ John kennedy will return’
Looks like Craig won't have too much of a break after the NTTD craziness has died down—apparently a Knives Out sequel focusing on his character has officially been green-lit with "a production start...imminent". I believe this is the first time, apart from Bond, that he's reprised a character.

Ideally I would have liked more time but decided to get it out before oscars night, thanks for the tip off!

But I too feel the vocals are drowning in the instrumentals.
