I believe there's more Simpsons Bond stuff, but I'm no Simpsons expert. I can ask a good friend of mine who knows as much about The Simpsons as we all know about Bond.
What about the movie quotes sketch? This forum has a thread called the James Bond Quote Conversation. Could you folks not relate to the premise of that sketch?
its an ad for the movie. It would've been the only professional thing eon has done to this point. Or better yet postpone the movie back in February and save that 30 million they spent on the 30 second super bowl ad.
Why the anger towards EON? I don’t think anyone knew, leading up to the SuperBowl, that this thing would (Covid19) was going to go the way it has..They are in the business of making movies. They put it out, we , the audience give them $13 to see it. What else do they owe us?

I think Universal absolutely made the right and smart choice with the delay. Unfortunate of course since we've waited so long and were so close to seeing it but that's irrelevant in regards to this public health crisis.

Can you explain how Craig pulling out of SNL after starting work on it be professional? They had already started work on his show at the time the film was postponed. If Craig had quit it would only be more bad press for Bond, and he'd never be invited back.
Stan Smith from American Dad also has a gun barrel scene. He gets shot, unaware that it's a gun and thinking it was supposed to be "an eye or something"

I was trying to remember which show I saw that on. American Dad has several episodes that fully spoof Bond.
Did it make you mad when they referenced 9/11 in CR, or "the world's changed, if we only dealt with the good guys we wouldn't have anyone to deal with" in QoS, or the Cold War in Moore's films...?
Those examples have nothing to do with going on about a named politician, shoving political messages down your throat (of course NTTD might not even do this, but my response was more to do with IF they did this, which is the impression I got).
9/11 and the Cold War and the Quantum line are all about events/the world in general. I don't even follow politics yet I'm sick of constantly hearing about Donald Trump. It's a bond movie, not a political debate.
The only politician I remember them parodying was Margaret Thatcher (which was an extremely silly moment btw). However, even that was just a silly/light-hearted parody about the person herself, rather than the actual politics.
There's absolutely no need for them to reference Donald Trump. Just make a damn bond film, it's taken them long enough.
The secret subtext of "keep the politics out of it" is almost always "keep the politics I don't agree with out of it." )
To that end: I hope they roast Trump alive - stopping mid-film to look directly into the camera, Fleabag style, to do it.
That scene alone would make NTTD the most successful Bond Movie ever in the Norwegian market, but even in this case I don't want politics in Bond movies (just in some AJB threads :v )

How original.

The Norwegian Minister of Health says the Corona epidemic may og on for a whole year. Let's hope he's wrong or at least the worst of it will be over far earlier.

Betting regardless of the virus, public fear is lessened in November because we'll know more about it
The worst of the virus is over in China. They put in place very strict measures to stop the virus, but the same will happen everywhere sooner or later. I think a decline will happen after a while in Korea, Japan and Italy and other nations that are fighting hard against Corona right now. Even later we will see a decline in other regions. I'm no expert of course, but that's how I see it.

Honestly I don't even follow politics. I just don't think it should be referenced so much in films (unless they are particularly political films). It sucks the joy out of it for me and leaves me feeling depressed/annoyed rather than entertained.
On a side note, do you think this coronavirus stuff is likely to affect my holidays this year? I'm going on cruises, countries include Norway, Spain, France, Italy (Rome, Pisa, Florence), and Gibraltar.
To many people, Trump is a Bond villain, with all the bigotry, egomania, narcissism, deceitfulness, and callous disregard for human life and rights that that implies. Of course, his supporters would disagree, but then even Goldfinger, Stromberg, Drax, Zorin, and Carver had loyal followers. No need to actually name Trump in a Bond movie when power-hungry, self-centered billionaires are commonplace in the films already.
If that quote came directly from China , then I would take that with a very large pinch of salt........
I'm very aware that China is very far from an honest broker. But the Chinese PM just visted Wuhan and Corona hospitals are being shut down, so I tend to belive the worst of Corona is over in China.

Depends when you're going Jarvio. FCO advice is currently no travel to Italy, unless essential.

Norway is in late June. The other countries mentioned will be in late August.
He's very popular in the states. It would alienate a lot of the American audience who are already looking at the me too insertion and being tired of being told what to think.

I've got a bad feeling about this.
Because it was delayed during his week on the show. It would be highly unprofessional to quit mid-week.

Aaarrgh - what a terrible waste!
Saved that for November
Yep, hopefully for the film release, not just the bonfire
1 - Moore, 2 - Dalton, 3 - Craig, 4 - Connery, 5 - Brosnan, 6 - Lazenby
