I've noticed that BG's NTTD song (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6HF4LVW6YTM) is 3mins 54 seconds long, only 10 seconds shorter than Billie Eilish's song, and both are entitled No Time To Die.
Was that the requirement from EON, about 4 minutes long for the main titles edit? Did Boy George genuinely write his song and submit it?
It's possible I guess, both Skyfall and Spectre have title sequences in the 3min 50sec region, whereas CR and QoS were both around 3min 20 sec. I'd certainly imagine they have some specs they send out.
Skyfall had the first chorus truncated for the opening credit sequence though.
It's...super unlikely that Eon solicited a theme song from Boy George. No knock on his talent, but they've been going for bigger and bigger artists in the past decade plus.

Really? Why? They have to, to quash Negative rumours. Actors, Directors and Producers do it all the time.
Yeah it doesn't seem a big deal to me. And besides, doing some VFX work might not be the sort of thing that some folk see as being locked down in terms of editing etc. It can be technical polishing rather than big creative choices across the whole movie.

From what I've heard in the past, VFX is sometimes (maybe even often) completed right at the last minute, because it is one of the elements where there are often lots of adjustments that can be made to make the shot better and can still be worked on when the edit is completely locked off. So given the time frame of when the COVID-19 situation really started making an impact I'm not surprised that the VFX company were still busy and had to shift to finishing stuff off from home.
If Maurice Binder was still around, I suspect he would have been filming nude women in a makeshift studio in his living room considering how he famously liked to deliver the finished titles at the very last moment. The question is, would he have made the ladies wear a mask and nothing else?

They clearly have no idea how to create an interesting narrative, so they keep going back to the “personal” angle, which has been the centerpiece of every Bond film since TWINE. Twenty years! Actually, take out TND and it goes back thirty years to LTK! Taken independently, it would’ve been ok for any one of those films. But as a collective body of work? It’s so very tiresome. Major course correction is needed in Bond 26.

Agreed completely. I was dreading Craig’s return not because of Craig, but because of the narrative constraints. It’s just not a story I wish to continue.

I too think Bond being so-called "woke" may not bee a problem. It depends on how it's done. I think the key is that Bond shouldn't change too much, but the films can and should be aware of that sort of things. For example the movie should make sure women are treated respectfully, but Bond doesn't have too worry too much about it.
Bond films during Craig's tenure has been to focused on emotions and personal stuff. I hope most of the films of the next actor will focus on the missions. It's entirely possible to have villans with no more emotional versus Bond than the villan wanting to destroy the world and Bond disagrees.

The story was that they were filming multiple endings. So my guess is that they made:
1. Bond's death ending. Which I don't want to see.
2. Madeleine's death ending. Which I don't want to see because we've seen it before in On Her Majesty's Secret Service. And Daniel Craig's Bond is close to batting zero with saving women. Spectre was his first real success.
3. New Agent death ending. Which I'm not too fond of either as they seem to be making her a cool character. Already far better than Jinx who was terrible.
