Variety reported that DC is getting $25 million for Bond 25.

So, unless the dollar, pound exchange rate has dramatically changed, I call BS on The Sun.

I'd throw Emily Blunt's name into the mix - she's British, a great actress (fantastic in Sicario and A Quiet Place), can definitely be a badass action star (Edge of Tomorrow) and I'd say a perfect age for a fellow SIS agent or maybe even villain.

All this discussion is based on the Reddit 'source' right?

Isn't it amazing that now the Daily Express newspaper is not running Bond25 stories, that Reddit person is not saying anything.

I wonder if the Daily Express made up the Reddit BS for his stories?

I'm looking forward to some credible casting rumours in the next couple of months, as they usually start coming out of the woodwork about now, care of well connected journos like the Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye.

And based on the fact that the first Spectre trailer dropped on 27 March 2015, we only have 303 days until the first Bond25 trailer...

So this is DC filming the Heineken (sponsors) commercial which I guess is part of the deal for Bond 25.

I know its only a commercial but I get the impression things are way more advanced then we think {[]

Just spotted this. Looks like it could be a promotion as I notice he is wearing a wedding ring, but I am more excited about (maybe) a Seamaster 300 on a leather NATO, inverted no less. Enjoy

Nice to see DC back in the tux. Facially, (at least from the paparazzi photos) he pretty much looks the same as he did in SPECTRE. A bit of work, a bit of make-up and some good lighting can work wonders. Throw in another six months of gym work....and James Bond is back :D -{ {[]

It’s really amazing to watch that story unfold... Daily Mail had the scoop that he’s filming a Heineken commercial, and within the hour movie sites put it up as him filming scenes for Bond 25.

This is gonna be a long 18 months...

I worked for 138 for almost 10 years, and there have never been adverts filmed before the production has taken place.

Im also quite sure that unless a film is in production or up to a few months after production the creative partnership* cant use Bond to advertise.

Moneypenny was never Moneypenny, until it turns out she was, same with Q and the new M and Blofeld ?

*The creative partnership are a group that are part of product placement

It could all be made up because of all of the trouble that they have had with the public/Bond fans/Anoraks in the past. now with people just taking time out just to follow and film the production crew and put it all over the internet, times of filming and locations, it must be a nightmare for the crew.

    Just my 2 pence for what its worth :) -{

If it was the new Bond film being shot, wouldn’t Danny Boyle be there instead of in Liverpool working on another film?

Im saying it is not an add, Im not saying it is B25, he has been able to play bond for other programs eg comic relief or the olympics

honestly, have you ever seen an add with Bond unless there is a movie out ?

For Spectre the Heineken ad came out the summer before, so they are probably shooting it now because that’s what his schedule will allow to get it out by next summer.

You could be right, but I was involved with the Heineken SF ad and that was filmed in the summer before release and was a one day shoot at Elstree. the SPECTRE ONE was shot against blue screen, seems strange he is going on location to shoot this one. but you could be right.

'The Rhythm Section' re-commences shooting in Spain next week, maybe they are saving a bit of time and money, and doubling up.

Well spotted with the wedding ring.

DC married Rachel Weisz in 2011.

I looked at the Skyfall and Spectre Heineken adverts and DC is not wearing a wedding ring.

He either forgot to take his actual wedding ring off during wardrobe, or the Spain filming is actually a very early shoot and despite Boyle coming on board, Bond is still with Madeleine in the story.

I seem to remember they did some very early filming in Siena, Italy for Skyfall, long before official filming commenced.

And I find it very hard to believe that DC can't take a day off for an advert during actual principal photography, he took weeks off when he injured his knee during Spectre's filming.

It's very unlikely that Craig would be filming for Bond 25 without Boyle present, especially at the start of shooting.

I don't believe there was any shooting done in Italy for Skyfall. But for any early shooting before the start of production, was Daniel Craig involved?

Taking time off for injury is considerably different than taking time off to shot an advert, particularly one that involves location filming.

It's obviously a Bond cameo being filmed for The Rhythm Section. SHARED UNIVERSE! :))

You guys insisting it's early filming for Bond 25 are being daft. Principal photography is six months away. That's not how they do it. And the smoking gun is Matt S taking that tuxedo to pieces upthread. This is some red nose day/advert/charity thing

They filmed (at least parts of) the Pamplona scenes for QoS early, simply because the street horse race takes place before the official filming started.

Pamplona?? If you mean Siena, that'd be second unit, not close-up shots of the lead actor six months prior to principal photography. Those relatively tight crowd shots of Craig and Mitchell happened after the fact, I'd wager. Apples and horses.

    Edit: From MI6-HQ:
Back in August last year (2007), cameras rolled for the first time on - what was then known as - Bond 22. The location was the Tuscan village of Siena, Italy, to capture the "Palio" biannual bareback horserace. Daniel Craig was also in attendance, although he merely observed and did not feature in the filming in any way.
  • Number24Number24 NorwayPosts: 22,334MI6 Agent
Yes, I ment Sienna. I seem to remember photos of Craig in Sienna discussing the filming with the crew, but I think you're right about him not being in front of the camera.

I have no idea what they were shooting but I would agree that it wasn't Bond 25. Probably an advert of some sort. Just because they shot an advert at a certain time in the past doesn't mean they always do it that way....could also have been a Public Service or spot for a charity.

They shot the Heineken ad for Spectre around September 2014 if I’m not mistaken.
