i do not believe that racism, homophobia, or misogyny are core aspects of Bond’s character, and I don’t want to see them reflected in Bond either in a modern or a period depiction. Bond is a serial womanizer, and this is a core aspect of the character, but that does not require him to be a misogynist.

That's a very good point. There is a significant difference between being a womanizer and a misogynist. If anything, by today's standards of behavior, Bond might actually be a bit of a sex addict but he certainly does not hate women. There are many similarities between Madmen's Don Draper and Bond (and IMO a lot of Draper was cribbed from Fleming's Bond). They are both womanizers, they both drink and smoke too much and they are both as addicted to their jobs as they are to the alcohol and tobacco. Despite their bad behavior they both still have a moral compass and a soft spot for the less fortunate or the innocent victims of tyrants.

Draper is a malignant narcissist; whenever anybody really needed him, he failed them. Bond, on the other hand, is prepared to give his life for his country, something no narcissist would ever do.
Draper is closer to Roger O. Thornhill ("ROT") in Hitchcock's North by Northwest. Handsome, smooth superficial, charming and in the Ad game. He also, like Draper, assumes another man's identity.

Excellent points. I didn't think of North By Northwest. There are similarities between Bond and Draper but in the end Bond is a hero willing to self sacrifice for a cause and Draper is a self invention who in the end survives on his brilliance as an ad man. If he were British, I always thought Jon Hamm would have made a good Bond....sort of a cross between Dalton, Connery and Brosnan.
Neil Callow confirms to CNN that he will return as an art director on B25. He worked as art director on SF and SPECTRE too. He was stand-by art director on QoS and CR.
Olivier Schneider will be supervising stunt coordinator. He worked on The Rythm Section, Child 44 and many other films, mostly French.
He was fight choreographer on SPECTRE.
I wanted him badly for Blofeld last time around! Ironically, now I hope he isn’t Blofeld! But I do hope he’s in it. He and DC are pals, so it would be cool to see him play a fellow 00.
It would be funny if Strong actually is playing the villian after that quote of his from a couple of years ago: “Do you know what, I’d have loved to played the villian in a Bond movie while Daniel was doing it because he’s a pal and that would have been great. But I think he’s come to the end of his Bond time and so it’s probably never going to happen.” I’d gladly have him in B25 as any character though, villian or not.

He's superb and would be a great choice. I may have to eat my words as this is an instance where I really hope that DC does have the ability to influence what happens.
Of that of which we cannot speak we must pass over in silence- Ludwig Wittgenstein.
So, Mark Strong as Blofeld as Bellatrix LeStrage actress as Irma Bunt? The Garden Of Death? Likely or unlikely?
You’re really keen on Garden of Death for 25 aren’t you Jarvio? There’s always the possibility but I think a lot of the elements of the Garden of Death are a little bit too far-fetched for one of Craig’s films, seeing as they all seem to stick to a fairly high level of realism...and man eating plants might be slightly out of place there.
(Kidding about the man-eating plants, but still think the garden and its inclusions wouldn’t work for a Craig movie, especially his last one.)
It's not that far fetched. There is a forrest near Mount Fuji in Japan that's very much like the Garden of Death. It's so popular for suicides the forrest rangers have placed posters around it to discourage people from entering it to kill themselves, but they still have to search the entire forrest to find all the dead bodies every year.

I'm very keen. I just think it would make for an excellent, different idea that stands out and is not the same old stuff.
I see your point about it being a bit out there for a DC film, but as Number 24 correctly said, it's not really unrealistic, and yes there is a Japanese forest that is basically a real-life garden of death.
Still, I'd love to see it in the DC era because of the whole Blofeld thing, and DC finishing off Blofeld.
While there really is a "suicide forrest" in Japan, I doubt there are many poisonous plants and insects there. While I don't remember the novel that well, wasn't it Blofeld who brought them there? That was part of his insanity at that point, so that part doesn't have to be realistic.

I just noticed that too, David! Very interesting!
