What are your thoughts about Chris Corbould's comments about Bond 25?
He said: "[It’s] very exciting. I’m not going to talk about it, but I can’t remember being so excited about going on to a Bond. It’s going to be very, very special.”
He was also asked at a roundtable interview if there would be a similar focus on realism with Bond 25.
He added: “I wouldn’t be doing it otherwise. Think the Olympics.”
The "very special" line couold of cource be the usual hypeing of the next movie, but it could also mean something.
But what about the Olympics comment? I agree with Jamesbondradio that the only really special thing about the Bond segment at the Olympics ceremony was the royal connection. So will there be some royal connection to Bond25? (perhaps a Casino? ) )
I can't imagine anyone playing a member of the royal family in a Bond movie, and them playing themselves is even more riddiculus.
Having a plot revolving around the royal family is far too old fashioned. Perhaps Bond stops an attack on the Buckingham or Windsor Palace in the PTS? Perhaps as a start of a terror campaign too free Blofeld?
How so?
Do you think he'd be willling to be the chairman of the campaign?
Or perhaps you consider him to be an actor too, based on a liftime of public appearances of a theatrical nature?

They filmed outside Buck Palace for DAD. They could recreate the Palace's interior at Pinewood, or Windsor Castle, which might be equally famous now after the Harry/Megan wedding.
Maybe a "White House Down" like sequence for Bond25?
Yes. But I don't think the royal family should be the main goal of the villan, and the attack shouldn't be the main action sequence. It would be good for the PTS.
Anyone remember the crap FYEO got for having Margaret Thatcher in it ? ....... can't help but feel if this rumour
is true, Bond 25 will be in line for similar criticism, ....... eventually

I'm all for speculating, so here is my speculation based on the speculation so far and the titbits from the likes of Corbould and Callow.
In the PTS, Bond, no longer with MI6, is at Buck Palace to receive a medal for his services to the Empire, and his wife, Madeleine Swann, is with him. 'Terrorists' attack Buck Palace before the Royals arrive for the ceremony (just to keep them out of the picture), and Bond thwarts their attack and the 'terrorists' are captured/killed and one of the 'terrorists' captured/killed is connected with the [see Bond 25 SPOILER news thread] and they find out Bond was the one that did it. The first act and part of the second act is Bond and Swann on the run from said terrorists who have tracked them down to the USA where they are visiting Felix Leiter and Mrs Sciarra. In the middle of Act II Madeleine is killed. Bond, still retired from MI6, joins Leiter's CIA mission - the scene at CIA HQ - to go after the 'terrorists' who are actually [See Bond 25 SPOILER news thread] and have other goals related to world domination/extortion/annihilation [delete as applicable] and the rest of the film is [See Bond 25 SPOILER news thread]/the usual Bond stuff, hopefully with a villain's lair being stormed at the end with the help of the US Marines.
All these speculative narratives are interesting to say the least but I have my own speculative theory: Swann, for better or worse could be no more than a footnote in Bond 25. Buckingham Palace and the Royals could be another story. I will say, people over here in the USA eat up anything with the Royal Family. I just wouldn't want a "Buckingham Palace Down" derivative film. I would like to believe that Hodge and Boyle would have come up with something more original or at least derivative of something Fleming.

We live in hope. Personally I'd also be surprised if Boyle does anything so cheesy and crass. This news vacuum and intolerable wait is driving us all nuts. B-) Stay Frosty, I'm sure that we'll have more to go on soonish...
Of that of which we cannot speak we must pass over in silence- Ludwig Wittgenstein.
A film where the royal family/palace is at the center of the plot would be wrong, but I don't think that will happen. But it might be involved in a sequence, such as the PTS.
A stealth helicopter sits above Buckingham palace, several
Assailants descend on ropes . Only to be confronted by
Her Majesty herself, in a fantastic display of combined
Martial arts and are soon quickly dispatched as from her
Private quarters holding his weapon stands Bond.
" would seem your foster brother is sending a message "
" yes mam. "
" as if I didn't have enough problems with my own family !
Deal with this James "
"Is that an order mam? "
" more, a Royal Command "
Smiling she points at the crest on Bond's underpants which
Reads ( by appointment to her majesty )
" Now James, let one help you look for that stationery "
" How apt, from Royal Command, to command performance "
Titles begin with Gary Barlow warbling over the imagery

Mind if I steal this, TP......? And use it ...er... in a different context.
Camilla Stephenson is reported to be the new supervising location manager for Bond25 by Jamesbond Denmark and IMDB. Stephenson is currently working on the movie Boyle is making now with Richard Curtis. Stephenson has worked on some really good movies such as "The king's speech" and "Eastern Promises".
She has worked mainly in Britain, but she also worked on Jo Nesbø's The Snowman. Location work was one of the few positives of that movie, but I suspect local location people helped her out.
Let's hope this addition to the crew isn't a sign that much of Bond25 will be set in Britain.
Outside of the British Isles Camilla Stephenson has worked in the Netherlands, Norway, Paris, Spain, Egypt, NY and New England in six movies (I think) . That's six movies out of 45 movies where she has worked outside Britain. She lists the London as her area of expertise.
This may mean nothing, of course.

I just don’t want to see Bond parodying itself like it did whenever Spectre attempted humor or nostalgia. If Bond is going to parachute onto a building from a helicopter, that’s great as long as it’s real and CGI isn’t used. But please don’t throw in a Union Jack parachute or Bond changing into a dinner jacket. It just doesn’t work with Craig’s Bond. Just keep the gun barrel at the beginning and use Bond theme gratuitously and most everyone (even the anti-Craig nostalgia junkies) will be satisfied that they are watching a Bond film.

James Bond Brasil found Camilla Stephenson's webpage and Spain is one of her areas of exeprtise.

DC was filming in Spain earlier this year for a Heineken advert, allegedly. Coincidence?
This story says that Centre Point tower in London was being considered for Bond25 with 007 landing on its roof by parachute or helicopter.
