I don't know the proper technical term, but I was under the impression that the Colibri logo was engraved on the gun.
"Carved in", so to speak.
I'll have to rewatch He with Thine Gilded Weapon.

Yes - you can "Carved in" on your FE Golden Gun
but for me I choose the simple route of a very nice sticker )

Problem with engraving (=carving) the Colibri Logo into a FE Gun will take the minimal goldplating off and the inferior base material will tarnish very quick and spread underneath the plating of the rest of the piece. It'll become very quick scrap.

Kan's stickers are by far the better choice!
