I'm an admirer of some of the Game of Thrones silver weapons so I was reading up an article on an Indian manufacturers who are the official producers of GOT silver weapons..

The business owner confirmed that they were the maker of Bond's knife used to kill Silvia towards the end.

Their other work appearances includes Star Wars, batman and of course all these beautiful swords and knifes we see in GOT

Here is a link to the interview,

http://m.indiatimes.com/news/india/india-has-its-very-own-game-of-thrones-connection-one-that-ll-give-fans-a-pleasant-surprise-254032.html

Here is the link to thier knifes ( they didn't specify which was used for skyfall so we might need some of those eagle eyes)

Finally here is a documentary video of thier work in GOT

Yes, it's inaccurate information plus the Skyfall knife is no where to be seen on that website. I've had info from other sources about this and never was an Indian cutler mentioned.

Please read the interview. He mentioned it there.

Why would a guy who manufactured gears for HUGE big tv show and movies like GOT & Starwars bother to throw in a little lie about a knife seen for a split of second in skyfall. The reason is because he is telling the truth ! He didn't need to but he did.

Now as to why you haven't heard of it before, til this day we keep discovering small things like vodka glasses from casino royale . Thier makers didn't claim they made anything for CR because these are small props that nobody cares about us crazy bond memorabilia collectors :)

Finally between his word and yours, I will take his anytime.

Mmmmmm I think I would rather take the word of ASP9mm, Minigeff and Ed Maggiani than something said in passing. All three of these gentlemen have bona fide credentials when it comes to props and their prevenance.

Don't get me wrong, I get things wrapped round my neck too but I've never heard of this Indian firm being the producers of the SF Kincaide knife.

nobody is perfect. It is up to you to believe it or not.

In my personal opinion someone who manufactures big gears for HUGE established TV and Movie ranchises does not need a little lie about a knife seen for a second in a bond film.

So let's stick the subject in hand,

, What I'm interested in is finding out which knife it is in thier website.

Perhaps someone can contact them and very verify which knife. I will be more than glad to. If others are interested.

Wow so much aggression towards someone trying to help and share something that we can all research and do more investigation

    Anyways,
And here is a video link to thier GOT work.

    https://www.facebook.com/ajplusenglish/videos/1031358367005670/

And again here is a link to the interview,

Some folks in here need to take it easy. If you already know where the knife comes from, you can simply correct it with the right maker and evidence

My intention is to share findings that could be ligitmately true due to the credibility and established history of the maker

And I'm going to contact them directly to get to the bottom of this.

Honestly, I'd found a gilded opportunity to use double jeopardy :)) :)).
    Appreciate the recognition, though.

Thought this was about the knife Bond used to "extract" the bullet fragments from his chest.
    Has that already been covered?

Wow so much aggression towards someone trying to help and share something that we can all research and do more investigation.

I think it only reads as 'aggression' IF you are being over defensive...

It's because your opening post reads that this IS definitive...perhaps you could have presented what the guy said and THEN questioned his veracity, not state it as fact.

AJB has some wonderful people that don't like seeing people either misled or ripped off - I can only applaud them {[]

I clearly mentioned st the end of my post that we need help to verify the identity of the knife in thier website.

So when someone simply Sums up my whole spent time of research, writing this topic and sharing my findings as "Bullshit" . Was that called for ?

Based in the interview , he was referencing the knife used to kill Silva at the end. I just don't say why a business who already DOES huge work for Big TV and Movie franchise would make up such a lie unless he's telling the truth.

Anyways i intent to see this through. Speciallly now that I have received some PMs of support which tells me how aggressive some members can be in this forum.

Which is EXACTLY why I called it out for the bullshit I believe it to be.

I may be completely wrong and this Indian cutler turns out to be involved, in which case fantastic, you've found another piece of a complex prop puzzle.

However, the Indian guy could just be dropping names to gain sales, boasting about his involvement in a film that's now a few years old and off the radar a little....

And so because of your set in stone definite information (because he said so) people start enquiring and buying what they think is a blade made by THE same company who made the screen seen knife, which I'm sorry to report is simply NOT true.

    Or in laymans terms;

    Bullshit.

And "the knife used to kill Silva at the end"...

Why didn't he say 'Kincaide's knife'?

Only the other day I saw someone saying they knew someone who owned one of the original golden guns....
