Royale Altausee experiences?

Hey, I'd like to ask you about your experiences with the mentioned jacket. Does it hold up as a jacket for the winter time or is it more of a fashion thing?

Thank you

    Hi Jancik

    I've only worn mine a handful of times, but it was in the snow last winter, and I found it incredibly warm. The style of it is quite short, so your backside will feel the cold :o but your top half will be toasty - assuming you're also wearing it with a suitable Altausee-style roll neck.

    You might want to check out Mantis's Bond Experience vlog on it too. -{

    I wore mine quite a bit last winter (no snow) and as above, it was warm and very comfortable. It also lasted very well, little or no piling. A great jacket and highly recommended.

    I'd love to see a Mk2 version with a more accurate, darker blue and maybe with the sleeves 1" shorter (but that may just be me). If it is, I will certainly be buying another.

    Thank you, gentlemen. :-)

    Charmed - I have seen the video a few times, however as it was made in the warm May, I wanted more of a real life experience with it and how has it fared.

    I wore mine a fair bit last winter also, the only issue I've had is with a couple of buttons on the collar coming loose. I actually like the brighter colour as I've soooo many navy or dark blue or black jackets and coats.
    It was either that.....or the priesthood

    Same as above....wore mine in the winter...ridiculously soft material and nice movement. As far as keeping me warm...yes, without it being thermonuclear.

    Only one version. This is the jacket being discussed. aka the Mr White jacket.
