I'd also be interested in getting a pair in my true size instead of wearing 1/2 size larger than I am now. For anyone on the fence, these are incredibly comfortable boots. Even without the Bond connection, they are very versatile and well-made!
MrE, if you've got an open dialogue with reps from J.Crew, I would definitely point them to that recent eBay auction with the ink-stained pair that sold for over $300. If they want to see there's still high demand for this boot, that's a perfect example.

I apologize for the lack of update. I'm gathering all the numbers, and I will have more info for you next week.
Thanks goes out to everyone that voiced their interest!

Great, I look forward to it. I'll take 2 pairs if it helps!
My name has changed! I’m no longer dufus......now I’m DB6
Hi, I just saw this thread. Is it too late to express my interest as well? I’ve been looking everywhere for a pair of the Kenton plain toes, to no avail. And I can’t seem to find any satisfactory alternatives.
Gents, this wont be like the TF projects, the OP is looking to gauge interest so dont think this thread will lead to a bespoke order, more that it will encourage Jcrew to reissue the model, likely fall next year...
Firstly can I add my appreciation to Mr Ed for all of his work on this project. I'm very keen to buy a pair. Is there any indication of when they may become available? Also is it the case that we'll order from their website or will we need to contact them direct. Thanks again cheers

I believe all thats happening is numbers being passed on to demonstrate there is interest and hope for the best they reissue one day. Hence might happen / might not so I would not get too carried away at the moment
Everything has been submitted, and based on the excellent customer service and feedback that I've received
from J Crew, I do not think it is much of a stretch to believe this boot will come back in a future season's collection. I'm optimistic. I will let you guys know once I have the official word from them one way or the other.
Thanks again for everyone who expressed their interest.
Ran into a very disappointing brick wall with J Crew.
Their official response was "Who knows? Maybe we will restock them one day! You should search for them in the search bar from time to time with the style code you provided."
Unfortunately their actions fell quite short of their words. I tried to be as polite and professional and "not annoying" as possible, but sometimes the squeaky wheel gets greased. The only way I see this happening is if they get e-mail after e-mail after e-mail from everyone that wants them reissued.
The email is help@jcrew.com (feel free to copy and paste this simple request below and send it to them)
It doesn't have to be wordy.
Please bring back the Suede Kenton plain toe boot in the color: Sahara / style number A9651
I was just going to put my name on the list but seeing the message that you received is very disappointing to say the least! You have potentially 50 people or more who are willing to buy multiple pairs of shoes and all they can say is.....

I just recently purchased a J Crew Montague leather bag which is awesome from eBay and was considering buying the Abingdon but i am going to pass on it after seeing such a poor response to a prospective customer! They were better off telling you "at this time we are not considering a re-run of this shoe but that may change in the future so stay tuned"
Instead they gave you the "finger" which personally makes me wonder if the company even cares about their customers or are they so big that they can just blow people off?
Oh well hopefully they bring the shoe back into production and maybe i'll purchase a pair!

On it.
Happy to do what's needed whilst aware that a coordinated approach may work better than random emails and tweets i.e. Focussed attention.

By my count, we're right around 48 orders.
If someone could double check that for me and confirm that my count is accurate, it would be appreciated. - :007)
I wanted to report 50. Has a better ring to it. Keep you all posted.
