No, we know she's British, but she should have no help from the UK to return.
So, what is the alternative? The Kurds and the Syrians won‘t care about her. The US are not interested, so she will very much likely be released where she could do more harm against locals and foreigners probably by moving to Iraq.
Would you prefer her returning under a different id under the radar and be a potential threat to UK citizens?

At the moment I understand she is holed up in a refugee camp, I don't think it's particularly viable that she would be able to get a new identification for her and her baby and travel back to the UK in any covert capacity. She got herself to middle East, tore up her passport and fully immersed herself in the ways and wrong doings of isis. I'm not happy with the idea that the UK should send anyone (who will be at considerable risk) to retrieve her, just because she now feels she wants to return, nor do I think the cost of repatriation should be the uks to bare. Yes she shouldn't be stopped returning and when she does she should feel the full force of the law and be thoroughly questioned for any intelligence she might have. Of course if her family want to pay for her return then that's a different matter. She made a choice using the freewill living in the west affords it's citizens and is something her brothers in arms fight against, and she now seeks to use those same benefits and freedoms to help her, using her baby as a tool to do so. She's a stupid girl, she has yet to even show any remorse for all the bodyless heads she's seen in bins, and only now on the cusp of isis being crushed in its current state is she "desperate to return" hypocrisy in its boldest form IMHO.
Imagine you have someone from Morocco or Tunisia in the UK - let's say as an illegal or refugee. And this guy is doing ISIS propaganda.
The UK government (and the UK citizens) will rightly demand that Tunesia will take him back.
And guess what happens if the Tunisian authorities say: "We are not taking him back, he came to you by choice, he ripped up his passport and it'll be too dangerous to take him back because we don't want to carry the burden, cost, administration and risk".
That's more or less exactly the situation but with a UK citizen in Syria.

It's no where near exactly the same situation. The UK would simply imprison or deport in that situation.
Bagum flew from the UK to Turkey, where she supposedly illegally and without a passport crossed the Turkish border into Syria or most likely into Iraq first. She has ended up in a refugee camp set up for people who are fleeing conflict or have no where else to go because of it.... Conflict she chose to join. I'm sure she could get herself back into Turkey as surely there lax border enforcments work in both directions? And from there she could be deported or dealt with as an illegal? She currently has no passport, so her first port of call would be to find a British embassy and explain her situation. I wonder if she was a 30 year old man whether so much attention would be paid to this?
What sickens me is that the money used to resolve this situation could be spent helping those who end up drowning in the sea, and who have never done anyone any harm.
Daniel Craig's participation in the next Bond film was said to be 'under consideration' as it was recently revealed that the actor himself was behind the infamous 'Craig Wars' that preceded his role in his first outing as the secret agent, Casino Royale.
Publicists expressed astonishment and regret at the news that the actor himself set up the CraigisnotBond website, submitting many of the vicious comments himself, including photoshopping his face onto the character of Gollum from The Lord of the Rings.
'Anyone who identifies with the ugly community will find it astonishing and sickening that an actor like this would participate in such a stunt,' said one minger, who preferred not to be named - or pictured.
It is thought that the strategy was employed by the actor to boost his pay rise and garner sympathy among the greater public.

A representative of the Kurdish authorities in Iraq said on TV the ISIS people should be allowed back to their country they have citizenship in. When appropriate they can be prosecuted and the women should a program for de- brainwashing. The Kurds don't have the resources to handle all their ISIS prisoners and the worry is that they will be a huge problem in the future if they aren't handled right. I see his point, but I'll rather not have them back.
There is a suggestion that an international war crimes court could be set up in Iraq or somewhere else in the Middle East, much like it was done in Rwanda and the former Yugoslavia. I think that's a great idea. Intelligence agencies can send the court information, the witnesses are already in the area and it all makes sense. If the ISIS members are prosecuted in whatever country they traveled from they will probably only be charged with their membership of ISIS and not their crimes because of lack of information.
Great idea, let‘s dump all Isis fighters in Iraq.
I am sure that they will be eternally grateful for that gesture after all what happened to them just because GWB was sure to find wmd there X-(

Not dump them there, no. First they are processed there in an expert international court, near where most of the witnesses live. There is no point in all legal systems in Europe, and North America to try become experts on ISIS. Then the country the person is a citizen of can jail the war criminals among them for a very long time.
I don't think the people need to hav a trial. They just should not be able to come back. I think sending them to jail will make them an example of people giving up their lives for ISIS and they will be praised.

Ok, that sounds much better and I‘d agree.
The main problem, if these people come back to their home countries, is that the local authorities will have difficulties to properly prosecute and find witnesses and evidence from many 1000s of kilometers away.

Cohen's testimony is shocking. The Republicans are right he isn't the best witness, he even admits to lying to the Congress in the past! But there are things in his testimony I can't believe he's lying about. What is there to gain in saying Trump only ran for president for the PR. Or his racist statements. I simply don't buy Muller has forced him to make up that stuff to help the Democrats.
I wonder what this will lead to and what else Muller can dig up. Whatever happens I hope Trump won't be impeached for paying a porn star to keep quiet. Legally it's above board, but politically it's not helpful. His supporters won't believe it or they won't care, not to mention it will be yet another indignity for the White House and the USA.
Actually, I don't find anything shocking about his testimony.
Everybody with a half brain would imagine Trump being exactly like that and it's just shocking that everything is getting reaffirmed so accurately.
If you don't believe Cohen's credibility, just have a look at Bob Woodwards book "fear".
With those who still find Trump being the dealmaker and draining the swamp, they remind me of the emperor's new clothes.

... on the bright side of things, while everybody was afraid, that Trump would give out too much - that did not happen.
That "I trust Kim" was horrible in the context of Otto Warmbier who was killed by the Northkoreans and Trump flat out said, that he believes that Kim was not informed "because the country is so big and so much going on there".

The terrorist who murdered those people in the mosque had some peculiar ideas. Peculiar and cruel. In his opinion ethnic groups and their land are linked. Ethnic groups should stay on the land they are originally from, he wrote. It never occured to him that he's a man of European ethnicity born in Australia and living in NZ.
If only the members of NATO would pay their correct percentages.
Only America and Britain do ( I think) , don't know how they're also
Going to pay for the new EU army as well.
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
The new Brazilian president is practically the south-of-the -wall Version of Trump, so one can see why he said it. Trump pretty much said he hadn't discussed the idea with anyone before he said it. I'm not sure basing the US foreign policy on impulses is the best way forward. I think Greece and one or two of the Baltic countries spends about 2% of the GDP on defence. Greece meets the NATO goal because their GDP dropped significantly after the banking crisis, the Balkans are tiny ex-Soviet NATO members bordering on Russia. The rest of us should pick up more of the bill. Our government is at a hotel somewhere deciding on next year's budget. Many believe defence will be one of the winners, but it won't be nearly enough.
