I know the writers of the founding fathers had very positive experiences with militias the the war of indepencence, but putting it in the constitution was a bad idea. Regadless if the militias are balck or white, left or right it looks like those sort of people usually think they should have more power and the way to get it is having lots of guns and wearing what looks like military uniforms.
Trump retweeted the conspiracy theory that Bin Laden's assassination was faked by Obama and special forces soldiers were killed to cover it up. But it doesn't matter how many times Trump proves he is unfit to be president, his base still supports him enthusiasticly.

Republican Sen. Ben Sasse criticized President Donald Trump earlier this week during a phone call with constituents, saying a number of unflattering things about the President, including that he's "flirted with White supremacists" and "kisses dictators' butts," his office confirmed to CNN.
"It's going to be 'What the heck were any of us thinking that selling a TV-obsessed narcissistic individual to the American people was a good idea?' It is not a good idea."
I'm listening to amerikanskpolitikk.no "Norway's biggest, best and only podcast on American politics". In a recent episode they were talking about Biden's gaffes, the most recent one was him saying he's running of Senate )
One pannle member summed it up nicely: "Biden's problem is he sometimes forgets what he was thinking, Trump's is he says absolutely everything he's thinking off." Biden is capable of forgetting or confusing the most incredible things while Trump speaks in a stream of thought kind of way: "From the Cuban Americans, thank you very much. A lot of them are here, thank you very much .... Bay of Pigs" or "You look at what’s happening last night in Sweden."
Perhaps like Hilary he should have deleted
The alleged emails . Also I seem to remember ( on this thread ) anonymous
Allegations against Trump which were taken and reported as Fact. Seems one rule for one
Political party and one for another
Although we'll see as the story unfolds if it
Disappears like the made up Trump one, or turns out to be true
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
emails again because Trump is not able to come up with anything else with substance?
Actually Clinton‘s private emails did not contain anything serious * - the impact on the election was simply the announcement by Comey that they’ll start an investigation ( which lead to nothing by the way*).
*On November 6, in another letter to Congress, Comey stated that, after working "around the clock" to review all of the newly discovered emails, the FBI had not changed the conclusion it reached in July.[181][182][183] An unnamed government official added that the newly discovered emails turned out to be either personal or duplicates of emails previously reviewed, and that Comey's letter represents a conclusion of the investigation.[184] The following day, stock and currency markets around the world surged in response.[185][186][187]

I've sent you a PM, Pussy, so we can discuss this without derailing the thread.
You never know, but I don't think this is the "October surprise" Trump needs.
BTW: I've "ordered" Bob Woodward's book "Rage" from the library. I've avoided any books about Trump so far because they relay so much on anonymous sources. Woodward's book uses taped interviews of White House insiders so I think it must be much more reliable.
The ‚alleged‘ term has a quite important dimension.
Rudy Giuliani was in Ukraine and Russia for months („to find dirt about the Bidens“) and the FBI constantly warned him that Russia may give him fabricated ‚evidence‘ just because they are trying to influence the election again.
So far, the content of the emails is unknown and noone has really checked the authenticity of it.
With the tendency of the Trump administration to throw any kind of dirt and see what may stick ( with voters),:the info about those emails and the accusations should be taken with a grain of salt - or two.
Pointing out those facts is nothing to be criticized for - if anybody feels that that is a kind of abuse - well - boo-hoo

Woodward is probably the highest profilic journalist in the US.
He is widely respected - and feared by the people who want to cover something up.
I like his attitude „I have already spoken with several sources from your own administration and want to hear what you have to say. You are free to comment or not - regardless, I stand with my story and will publish it“
