I don't think it was DuPont (which I know seems strange as they were a part of the marketing), I think I had heard somewhere that it was a Cross pen, higher end line like the ones in SkyFall....will do some digging...
Hey gents! How about that pen in Spectre? I heard it was a st DuPont but am not sure about the exact model?
I believe it to be the s.t dupont meteorite fountain pen. It's definitely S.t dupont Fr sure, the actual finish is hard to discern. In any case it's bad form to use someone else's fountain pen.

It's a Dupont CR Edition fountain pen.
EDIT: It's actually mentioned on a blog somewhere. I've searched for it. but can't find it at present. The giveaway compared to the Meteorite is the machined line around the metal end piece on the body. The Meteorite doesn't have this, it's clean on that version. You can also make out the fine lines down the body and cap which look like shadow/lighting, but add to that effect. They're very very subtle and you can hardly make them out on the pen when its right in front of you. Had one of these pens pass through my hands yesterday, and it matches perfectly.
So Bond went to a shop after his CR payday and bought a limited Edition celebrating his own success.
Very much self-centered 8-) but I am giving him kudos for using his memorablilia and not keeping them in the safe )
Maybe he bought it in Casino Royale with his cufflinks.
Either way, I'd love for Bond to reuse past props (or "props" in this case) in sparse moments throughout the movies, like for example the exploding pen while signing his contract in TND.
Wasn't the CR s.t dupont ribbed (for want of a better word) I'm not seeing any ribs on the one uses in Sp, maybe I should go to spectators.
I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that they used the meteorite as a tie in to movie with Blofelds meteor crater and meteorite? Perhaps I'm having a dolly moment.
It was either that.....or the priesthood

No. The CR edition items aren't ribbed, it's a smooth black lacquer. They have a couple of rows of small dark lines running through them which can only be seen in certain lights, but no ribbing.

Thank you. But, this doesn't seem to be a fountain pen.

It is a fountain pen, the nib in that picture is side on and is a unique profile particular to Dupont pen nibs.
Reminds me a bit of the anti glare strip on a ppk slide! If they were wavey that is
That's the CR one, but the tuxedo lines don't show up like that in real life. The pen appears entirely black, especially in low light, the lines blend right in.
I took one to my mates yesterday. Gimme ten minutes and I'll get him to send me a piccy.
Not trying to be contrary or anything, but if that's the casino royale pen and you look at the length of the clip its quite short ending before the silver dupont band, the one in the screen grab looks longer like the clip on the meteorite.

Is it bad form to sleep with ones wife after they have been booted from a helicopter? )

Btw congratulations gents on identifying the pen, I'm sure the OP will drop by with some heartfelt thanks before too long...
