Oh I don't know? I love the boat chase and also when Bond escapes from capture in the hotel, levelling the agents, then casually skipping round the balustrades.
Both great sequences but imo don't quite live up to the exuberance of the earlier scenes. I also got vertigo watching the Opera chase sequence, it didn't feel right with the operatic score and no sound effects for some reason.
The big truck chase sequence at the end of Licence to Kill. I can't explain why. In theory, one might consider it ponderous and slow. Yet it's mesmerizing to watch. Two tanker trucks side-by-side, one trying to drive the other off a cliff-side and the other being driven into the cliff-wall. Dalton's reaction to another vehicle come at him head on. Tilting a tanker truck quickly enough to avoid a stinger missile launch. Bond jettisoning the back of his tanker, timing it to collide and destroy one of the other tankers. And that final desperate struggle on the back with a machete-wielding Sanchez as fuel leaks all over. It shouldn't work, but I watch it and find myself mesmerized.
There's so many pre-title sequences that I've re-watched endlessly, too. DAF, FYEO, TLD, are fantastic. TLD in some ways feels like it has two PTS; chasing the fake SMERSH assassin and Koskov's defection both kind of have that feel. GE's PTS, too; Brosnan has a fluidity to his movements as he makes his way through the Russian facility to meet up with Alec. I've watched the black and white sequence at the beginning of Casino Royale a bunch of times, too.
