With the world currently going to hell in a hand basket it’s nice we can rely on Bond, James Bond ...

I saw the 007 Magazine Facebook page this week had a post saying:

"'A View To A Kill'" is being reappraised these days."

    Only by idiots! :))

I don’t think any fan publication with such a small remit of films to talk about should be calling its fellow fans idiots because they actually dare to enjoy the thing the magazine is supposed to be celebrating. The FB page shows a really nasty attitude: I wouldn’t give this publication any of my money if it regards me as an idiot.

Then it goes on to sneer at a Mastermind contestant who got a few Bond questions wrong. Whoever is behind this (Rye?) is a graceless, nasty piece of work.

You clearly don't know much about him. This is one of the more harmless things he has said about his audience. :s

Hi guys. Scrolling on IG I found this magazine's cover "Screen"

    Screenshot-20200321-170734-Instagram.jpg

The issue is out today. Can I ask you first of all if someone understands japanese and secondly if you can find a Pdf version. Maybe there are some interesting infos and new photos (it should be a 30 pages article about Bond)

I cannot read Japanese, though when it arrives I'll see if there's any new pics. This is actually @ppw3o6r's '007 Magazine' publication thread - please post any new NTTD magazines you find here:

Got my copy of the Daniel Craig special issue in the mail this weekend. Looking forward to reading it, along with a few other issues that I picked up last year and never got around to reading. I am especially glad that I got all five issues of the Goldfinger series since three of them are now out of print.

Has anyone received their OHMSS 007 Magazine special yet?

The website says it’s now in stock and shipping.

I'm a little confused on this one. I'm wondering how much new stuff is in there really? Having bought the previous OHMSS magazines and 2015 special. Is it worth another £25?

It states: Includes over 300 rare and never-before-seen images relating to the film, many of them exclusive to the 007 MAGAZINE ARCHIVE.

But also states: (includes previously published material)

I'm running out of shelf space so trying to be careful what I order.

    "Any of the opposition around..?"

Yes got mine today too Sir Miles. A wonderful looking publication, a lot of photos I’d never seen before.

I plumped for the Lazenby/Rigg cover though would have been happy with any of them.

Sir Miles, much like yourself, not had a chance to read it through much so far, but one error I’ve noticed Savalas definitely didn’t pass away in 1978, bottom of page 21...

As you say, a quite wonderful looking publication 👏🏻

I went for the same cover as yourself…the photos chosen are excellent - and quite insightful 🍸

Its another stand out issue that could easily have transferred to a coffee-table hardback costing at least double the price of this 😳

Looking forward to the Sean Connery tribute issue when it comes out. Not only is he my favorite James Bond, he is one of my favorite actors as well.

Checked 007 Magazine FB page the other day and it said that the Sean Connery tribute issue will ship on August 25th in honor of what would have been Sir Sean's 91st birthday. Could not think of a more fitting date myself.
