Would this have been a better climax to A View to A Kill?

    3. May Day makes it with Bond to the Bridge climax and takes out Scarpine. She also kills Mortner and defuses the dynamite, while Bond takes out Zorin as normal. She then goes her separate ways from Bond and Stacey.

Take your pick which ending you would have.

Going with the canonical film's move of a reformed May Day, this is definitely the ending I would want.

Somebody else once had a thread talking about changing Bond movies where he suggested May Day stays bad despite being betrayed and she and Bond fight to the death, just like Oddjob in Goldfinger and the bomb is removed by a bunch of Zorin's men, since Zorin doesn't slaughter them in this take. Merely leaves them to die in the explosion.

My suggested idea with her taking Zorin's death plunge and him in the place of his "father" Dr. Mortner reminds me somewhat of the climax of Octopussy in that Gobinda has the main fight, albeit very short and brief, on the plane structure and Kamal Khan dies quickly after. Although Khan perishes in a desperate failed attempt to land the plane as opposed to the image of Zorin being killed with dynamite while trying to avenge May Day, not to mention his scheme to destroy Silicon Valley.
Roger Moore is my favourite 007 R.I.P.
