Experience with leather NATOs?

Thinking about changing the strap on one of my Seikos. Wanted to upgrade the bracelet however cannot find one with specific curved end links for the case. At the risk of going the straight end links route I naturally thought of getting a dark brown strap but then considered a leather NATO.

Does anyone have any first hand reccomendations on these? How do they feel, break in time, do they hold up etc..

I did have a leather NATO briefly. I can't remember what brand it was. The break in time was about 2 weeks ( I wore it every day). My only problem was that it got scuffed pretty easily. It can look good scuffed with that Menlo-ish style, but I didn't leave it on long enough to get there. I got the Omega Bond NATO, but the leather was a bit bulkier I remember and it didn't sit well under my cuffs. The nylon NATO is just as comfy with no break in period. {[]

    I agree with the above.
The watch sits much higher with leather NATOs.
I would recommend the nylon Spectre version, which I find very nice and comfortable.
    The are nice alternatives available.

Been wearing nylon NATO’s for years, tried a leather and it just felt too bulky for me personally.
I would expect to have to go top dollar for a decent one, as cheaper Leather is usually quite stiff.

    Just my thoughts
