Help Identifying M's Pipe

So, Im not entirely sure if this has ever been identified, but I smoke and collect tobacco pipes. In the early Connery films, M can be seen smoking a pipe in his office, has the brand ever been identified? I'd assume it's a Dunhill, given it's an English luxury brand. Any help would be appreciated!

There used to be a thread on here about it from around 2003/4. An old member identified it as Dunhill, so you're spot on.

Thank you, I'll have to see if it's archived. Very curious about the model and year. Dunhill's can fetch a pretty penny

I have several old Dunhills that belonged to my grandfather. Beautiful pipes. I don’t really smoke them, but my brother does and he says the quality is noticeably higher than most other brands.

There's definitely a noticeable difference between brands and age. My Peterson's smoke better than Savinelli and it seems older briar root is superior. Unfortunately, I've never had a Dunhill to compare
