SKYFALL shoes alternative

Hi everybody,

I have fond on ZARA Website shoes that can be very good to complete the Scotland SKYFALL look, with the Barbour jacket and the N.PEAL jumper pullover. If the Crockett & Jones Islay or too expensive, ZARA made one for only 80€.

I’m a big shoe guy so I’d recommend Cheaney, Alfred Sargent, Tickers, Loake, Allen Edmonds, Barker, Carmina, Carlos Santos, and Enso Bonafe, as they all make wingtip boots. Zara will look good on the shelf but I doubt the leather will hold up well in time. Sole quality and comfort may also be suspect.

Wingtip boots are classic... My go to are Shell cordovan from Alden but that’s priced more than the Islays.

I agree on Cheaney, haven't had any of the othe brands you mention but I am very happy with the 2 pairs of Cheaney that I bought last year. Someone once said: you don't wear cheap shoes, they wear you. And I tend to agree with that statement.
