Christmas Eve - Carol singing at the local Church has to be SF Shanghai garb with the Billy Reid and Dents to keep warm (though we seem to be having a minor heat wave may end up in CR free running kit!)
Christmas Day - Going SPECTRE London with NPeal turtle neck and slacks (probably leave off the shoulder holster)
Boxing Day - QOS Talamane with TF Cardi, crisp white shirt and Levi’s Sta Prest
I think that about it
Cheers :007)
Well I did say there was a slight influence
Most years have been pretty kind to me Bond wise each Christmas. Rumour has it I may get a present from Q Branch this year, so thought I should dress the part. Throw in SF on TV Christmas Day and SPECTRE New Years Day and various older Bond films through the week and its going to be a bumper Bond Christmas once again!
Had there been a fourth day might have squeezed an outfit from CR but limited options for Winter wear there other than PTS! So I settled with the SPECTRE photo call look with my Canada Goose Lodge Hoody for the food shop early am tomorrow. I have already been briefed by the long haired general my mission starts at sparrows fart o’clock to beat the rush!!
Have a good one all and enjoy whatever you do this festive season!
Merry Christmas and a Prosperous 2018 to everyone on AJB!
Cheers :007)

Merry Christmas to you also Bond44 and a happy new year old buddy -{
Over the next few days, the Royale Solden, Agnelle gloves, and N. Peal tactical mock turtleneck will be doing duty on our quick trip to New York. But then we're off to Bermuda on Christmas night, so all the Sunspel sunspel t-shirts and the polo along with the Royale Club trousers come out while we're there. But I'm most looking forward to my firm's "holiday" party in January as I was able to pick up the TF Rome suit and its perfect for that occasion. Of course, being a genius (read dumbass) earlier in the year, I missed getting the right cocktail cuff shirt and the Rome tie when I had the chance. But yeah, it's a Bond Christmas and New Year for me!
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year everyone!

In case anyone is curious? that is a retention ring which had to be added after removal of the maximum amount of permissible links to stop the Seamaster bracelet falling off his ickle wist!

I actually had the entire clasp taken out, the strap (or what's left) is just held together with a rubber band round the back. Bit like your watch expert's puckered up arsehole.

Personally I prefer Ernest Jones ....they display a much better class of replicated movie prop in their window displays according to N.Finlayson..quite a treasure! -{
Considering I pretty much live in my Barbour in the colder months due to the utility of the pockets for wallets, phones etc.. (plus its definitely my go to for visiting the movie theatre - you can smuggle in SOOO MUCH OUTSIDE FOOD/DRINK CONTRABAND ! especially with those game pockets ! ) ) ... but here on Christmas eve as I make the rounds to visit the parents, girlfriend etc.. its the BR peacoat... During my yearly family reunion long weekend trip to the smoky mountains last week I pretty much stayed in my Royale Filmwear Solden.. (Thanks Daniel!) and of course being in the mountains - my Danners.. Like most of you, some form of Bond inspired wardrobe makes its way into my everyday... Christmas or not... my only regret is that my Dent's driving gloves did not come in for me to use on the road trip to east Tennessee.. still waiting on those !
Not wishing to hijack a clothing thread with a prop but I started this here a few days ago, now would seem an appropriate time ....... just received my new issue from Q Branch.
When Q said ‘What were you expecting an exploding pen? Well we don’t go in for that sort of thing anymore’ he was not joking! All this bad boy does is pen a mean note ( I know the pen is mightier than the sword but really!)
Cannot say my long hair general does not have a sense of humour! I was thinking exploding watch or Aston (maybe next year). Stitched me up like a kipper )
I hope Santa brought you all you wished for AJB and enjoy whatever you are doing today.
Merry Christmas All!
Cheers :007)

Well I am guessing like most we got up early, unwrapped the presents ate and drank too much, watched the Queens Speach and had an impromptu snooze. Now it is time for round 2 at the buffet before cozying down with a good friend, interesting read and a decent film.
Same again next year?
Cannot for the life of me work out what film to watch
Cheers :007)

I wondered what that was wrapped around 'ickle-Pete'. He must have zoomed in really close.
Most people do. Named after the Scottish Island where great whisky is made... Islay (eye-lah).
