Welcome to the forum and out of the shadows, always good to convert a lurker. I have no doubt you will enjoy being a member of this community - some of us are cranky old gits at times (and the rest just cranks), but that’s all part of the fun of it
Enjoy

My name is Bond, Basildon Bond - I have letters after my name!
I'm on a number of sites, mainly movie forums, and it seems like a lot of them go through the following stages:
- rapid growth, where everyone is accepted and welcomed with open arms.
- peak usage, where everyone gets to know one another, 'cliques' form, and a lot of inside jokes and tribal knowledge is created.
- stagnation, where conversation topics get played out, new users are derided for 'not knowing things' or for bringing up topics that were already discussed years ago.
- decline, where users continue to move on and those who remain prefer to keep it an 'old boy's club', outright discouraging people from joining.
Welcome Gymkata! That's an interesting observation that got me thinking. If this forum is indeed over its peak, then when was it's peak?
I appreciate all of the welcoming posts from everyone.
I am not in a position to say when you guys were at your peak. That's really only something that people who have lived here for a while could answer. I would not be surprised if you guys have had several peaks over the years, though. I bet CASINO ROYALE and SKYFALL provided a lot of heavy traffic for you.
I don't really remember much from around Casino Royale since it was so long ago now. I would wager for Skyfall though, I remember the forum exploded with activity and new members around 2012 because of it.
