Future Factory Entertainment Releases

I was recently watching David Z’s video at ComicCon Sand Diego and the FE rep mentions towards the end that they are working on a future project (FRWL attaché case). Has anyone heard any news regarding future release? They still sell items on their site for James Bond so I am interested to know if they plan on releasing new stuff.

Thanks!

J

Factory Entertainment did give us an update here in September...

They have also teased a possible revisit of the Golden Gun...
At least that was most people's interpretation.

We will be interviewing and filming a vlog with Factory Entertainment at the NYC Toy Show on February 19th....I am not privy to any news ahead of time but we have been told there will be some surprises....

Thanks for all the input guys! All good stuff. While I was waiting for responses I did some digging and emailed a member at FactoryEnt asking release questions. The gentleman I spoke with said they'll be showcasing new items at this years Comic Con! Really really excited about this. Although, if we'll get a sneak peak at the NYC Toy Show next month, then that is even better than waiting till the summer. Keep us posted, DZ! I'll also be sure to swing by the Javitz Center to take a look in person :).

Additionally, he said to expect the release of new items towards the end of 2018 and into 2019. However, the FRWL attache case is said to be off the table for now. Still too dificult to produce and it would be costly. He didn't completely rule out the item though. They continue to do their research for production and cost efficiency.

Hope that helps and have a great weekend!

That's too bad about the FRWL attache case. I do hope they get around to offering that. I was watching the Mantis' video with The Spyguys' explanation about SD Studio's version, an endeavor that in some ways was a license to print money had they stashed a few to sell later. I would think that a larger outfit like FE could better streamline production of the case to lower the cost in making them and therefore more affordable for us who didn't luck out in snagging SD Studio's offering.

I don't own a FE GG, but shame on FE, if they redo the GG and thus are throwing eggs on all the collectors who bought the initial run.

In the video Barry has eluded that there will a cane. My guess is that it will be a reproduction of Bond's "Day of the Dead" walking Skull Head cane to accompany the Skull Mask. --Ed

Was looking forward to Zukovsky’s cane gun! I worry that his Skull cane is not prominent enough to warrant a replica.

I guess they’re hoping cosplayers will buy them both. Sound marketing decision.

The cane he carries at the start or the cane he later takes from a bystander?
The costume cane isn't much to look at whereas the second is quite interesting ... though technically wouldn't be paired with the mask.

They can't do that because it is a "found object" that is made by another company.

    Hmmm
They made (or at least tried) the Moonraker laser gun. That was also a "found object"? Same for the breathers...
(And I have a suspicion they "found" their Homers also somewhere :# )

The attache was made from scratch by the prop department /Burt Luxford

The DAD breathers were also changed from the originals in shape and size. And like you said, the Moonraker laser wasn’t accurate either.

From memory, the TWINE cane . . . looks like a cane. The large Moonraker guns do not resemble the assorted objects they're made from.

Of interest, FE was thinking about Goldfinger gold bars before they realized some people would complain unless the bar was the exact weight of a gold bar! Quote: "But it's okay, Matt, James Bond fans are a lot less picky than Star Wars prop fans."

While Zukovsky's included a firing mechanism of course, the cane itself was taken from an existing design.
