James Bond The Man And His World, by Henry Chancellor

I did a search but didn't find a discussion on this book, which I own but haven't yet read. It looks fascinating, with lots of vintage illustrations, photos, and repros of Fleming's manuscripts and letters. Actually I have two copies of this one, one of them a "reading copy." (Don't you just love reading copies??) I don't think it was published here in the US, but I got my UK copies fairly cheap...this looks like one of those books that's fairly inexpensive on the used books market, at least for now. In other words it's no "Book of Bond!" Speaking of which, how does Chancellor's text hold up? I'm going to go ahead and assume it isn't as pithy and cogent as Amis's in "The James Bond Dossier?"
