I saw the stunt watch some time ago and was hoping the bezel and dial would be different on the screen used Omega, but no. Just handled the screen used watch itself and it’s going to be a marmite thing. I’m not going to buy this, the colour is horrendous. Yes, it has the broad arrow, yes it has the mesh bracelet with traditional buckle, not deployant. But why did they have to make the dial and bezel brown . It’s horrible.
I'm still looking forward to some official pictures of it. My AD is holding an Apollo themed Omega party next month. Perhaps they'll have some details by then!
Im sure it will be a sell out considering quite a few here will buy DC's underpants
Not if theyre brown tho )

I have a brown dial watch. Never wear it. Just not versatile.
I have seen some lovely brown watches such as a Seiko Cocktail Time and a Sinn Frankfurt Financial District GMT. Those are dress and business watches. I can't see a brown Seamaster working in the flesh.
Is it supposed to be like a black dial that has faded to a chocolate with age?

One would think that DC would be heavily involved with the Omega of his choice in this movie....just looks like Omega pushing the Diver 300 .....there better be a second watch that looks classic and solid for 007

What size after all? 39/40mm? Or the standard 42/44mm?

What makes you think Craig’s involvement in the decision would improve the choices? As his influence has grown, Bond’s wardrobe - with a couple of notable exceptions - has greatly suffered. My guess is he handpicked this garbage.
You are probably right....hopefully we get a clear picture of the watch soon.....do you all think there will be two watches in the fim or just the one with mesh and brown dial/bezel?

My guess is we'll see two based on the Craig era's past history. The only one of his films to feature one watch was QOS.
As for Craig's influence, we've heard he didn't much want to wear "Pierce's watch" after Casino Royale, but it's less likely that he's the reason there've been two tie-in watches in each of his films besides QoS. And whatever other questionable fashion decisions we've seen, the watches from his stretch have been almost unanimously well-received before now, haven't they?

Oh, I'd own every one if I could! I've even come around on the Seamaster redesign he did the adverts for! The blue hands really pop against the grey face!
Thanks it’s been over 12 years in the making and the PO LM LE came up by chance and I thought well I love the PO 2500 and DC has one why not, the newer 8900 just did not fire me up as much as the original. The Black PO Ti 8500 gives it a run for its money and although they look similar one being Ti and the other steel justifies the two for me.
I must admit I go through phases around the box.
Cheers :007)
My name is Bond, Basildon Bond - I have letters after my name!
Comments
Just placed a blind order at my AD
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
Yes.
It is a poo colour too.

1. CR. 2. TSWLM. 3. LTK. 4. GF. 5. SF.
They better have a PO in the movie after that watch....

Just terrible. My dislike for Omega grows.

Might look slightly better with the steel case and bracelet, but then again they probably just make the bezel and dial show up even more brown.

But on reflection I did wear a brown watch on NATO in a place rather sandy, but that was for tactical reasons, so maybe I should not comment! )

I once had a brown faced breitling bemtley, not for long though as the novelty soon wore off.
