    Nice watches JTM. Good choice!
Are you planning to add the AT?

Thanks Commandant! Yes actually, the AT (not sure which size to go for yet) along with the CR PO Big Size and a Speedy are next on my list - however with the couple of recent purchases might hold of for a little before dropping some more big bucks on watches. I will definitely have to look around for a good 6 watch box in the mean time though!

Congrats JTM on picking up the PO a great price and I know it will give you years of service. Of course to be truly SA you need to convert it to TI :D

AT I would recommend the SKYFALL AT vs SPECTRE much discussion on here but it just seems more balanced face with the date surround. The 38mm works well if you wear a cuffed shirt.

Speedys are great especially with the NASA and Space history (I even bought a NASA Velcro strap) but I find myself falling in and out of love with it. The face sometimes seems busy vs the Seanaster range - but that is just me.

As a military man I definately recommend the vintage SM300 (Watchco versions are great as a new old watch variant ) it was created for the UK MOD to their spec and is a great nod to the past ( still say early Bond should have worn one back in the 60’s)

Good luck with the next purchase!

I am still considering whether I sell my collection and go for an Aston DB9 (poor mans DBS)

The WatchCo is a good recommendation.
    Prices are going up.
The AT is growing on me.
I'm really thinking about buying a LE.

Coming back to the DB9, are you also considering the V8?

    Cheers

Yeah the WATCHCO is a good investment and anyone local a steel I would say (tax on import would be pricey in UK). Been thinking of grabbing no date version while they are still reasonable. If I keep hold of the collection i/o the Aston.

Yeah probably a V8 I looked at one last year, low mileage, in a colour close to Casino, manual, with DBS styling kit and 30k but I thought on it for too long and it went like a hot cake. Naturally I have regretted that ever since, hey ho maybe next time.

Oh man I am very jealous - such a beautiful collection! Haha yes yes, I’ve looked into the Ti route but I think for now I’ll just stick with the standard and plain old “cheap” option :))

Cheers for the AT recommendation, it’s one of the few Omega variations that I haven’t tried on in the past. I’ll have to stop by an Omega boutique next time I’m back in a city with one and have a look.

Yeah im a fan of the speedy for some more day to day related wearing. I’m looking for one quite rare NASA/space related LE Speedy and that might take quite some time to source, but watch this space.

Yes I’ve definitely been on the hunt for a vintage SM300 as well! Awesome looking watch and love the military connection. Having already got the SP SM300 I might hold up getting another until I find some other models on my watch WTB list (unless I find a vintage or Watchco for a good price).
