Depends how thick the lugs of your Submariner are....

    20mm

I think what Mr Higgins means is how much polish your watch has experienced.

    20mm

20mm is the width between the lugs but what Mr. Higgins is talking about is the actual lug thickness on the case. If the lugs have been over polished it will affect the overall appearance of the case and can significantly affect the value.

Also what is the service history, is it a 14060 or a14060m and is it a 2/4 liner?

    Congrats.
It's of no importance now but, I'm curious, what year was it?

Honestly, someone should just buy the PO and swap it with him and take the watch that is worth 2x+.

If I didn't just sell my PO XL, I would bite your hands off for the Sub. Can't believe I missed this.

I don’t really know Rolex and their models that well, but wouldn’t a Sub 14060 be worth at least a good $2-3000 more than a CR PO?

This Sub 14060 is worth more than a CR PO

The 14060 reference (a bastard child of model numbers) is worth 5-6k in acceptable condition, sometimes without papers like this one.
It being slightly less desirable because it wasn't the later model with some changes under the hood so to speak.

5513s (Bond's magnetic, saw watch) are the daddies when it comes to value and because they are currently sold, the 114060 (supercase) also fetch a premium in the used market. While it was the last "classic" sub like a 964 Porsche, it wasn't good enough for purists because they could always get the "better" 5513 and even now, it has a lukewarm reception by them, even if some rejected the 114060 for being too much of a desk diver.
For me, exposed lugs and it still being manufactured up until I was born, it holds a special place in my heart.
I'd bite your hand off for it as-well but since it was a '94 and not an '01, it wasn't that much of a loss, personally.

Fun fact and a bit of odd knowledge: some retrofit the new bracelet from the supercase Submariner onto the date version of this model and it makes it slightly more attractive to some buyers entirely for that purpose.
Even if it has the same holes, the non-date 14060 is a different animal and it makes it impossible to do such a feat without many mods.

What I'm trying to say is, Rolex is better than Omega, undeniably, and I can't imagine how much OP has romantisized the PO.
