We know that the Illuminati was a real organisation or series of organisations in the past, but do you believe that it still exists today and still exerts influence? Or is that just what Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code (2003) and other novels would have us think? Is it all just fanciful fiction or a hidden grimmer reality?
Is the Illuminati really pulling the strings with world leaders and whole populations as puppets in their nefarious schemes for world subjugation and world domination?
Or is this all one big conspiracy theory that authors of fiction and later people who sit in their dank and dark bedrooms typing away at their PCs have thought up on a misinterpretation of the available evidence?

Yes, true, and the poor will always be with us.
There is plenty of stuff about this on the Internet, but it is not v edifying.
My own take? Well, having had my tussle with adult social care and mother in a nursing home where it appears the Liverpool Pathway is alive and well - murder via a covert policy of dehydration, carried out by the care home, instigated by the primary care trust or local NHS CCG and enforced by the local Council, which has powers to bar from the care home any families who have rumbled what is going on... And then when you make a Complaint, taking it all the way to the Ombudsman, nobody is held responsible whatsoever, well, all these organisations are very good at covering for each other. Frankly, you don't need to be, say, a freemason when you work for the Council, because you have a complete lack of accountability, job for life and you can harass the public with impunity... I fail to see what being a freemason would add to that save some aprons and funny handshakes.
Watch the Stephen Lawrence docs this week and see how the police harassed the innocent Lawrence family by spying on them, I mean I doubt the police are part of the farty arty I mean illuminati but there are some nasty victim-blaming trends going on, for sure.
I doubt however that those of us messing about on a James Bond website will have any credible knowledge about whether anything more sinister is going on...

Just from a purely business angle, the top few US tech companies combined are worth TRILLIONS, that's more than the net wealth of many countries, and also with profits larger than the GDP of some smaller countries. They've got to be making plays that affect any policy - domestic or foreign.
If you'd like, I think there are many various "Illuminatis". BTW, I have not seen the Da Vinci Code, so I might be misunderstanding.

Of course it is. Most likely a scam, knowing the dodgy and unsolicited messages one sometimes receives on Instagram. Thankfully I don't use it much anyway. It's maybe just as well.
Plus, the Illuminati doesn't exist though powerful elites of course do of course exist in our world.
