Tom Ford blue polo color difference,

Can someone please help me out. I just bought another Tom Ford navy polo in size 48 and noticed that the color was different from the size 50 that I already had. I know that they released a light blue, grey and white variant as well but this blue looks more like a royal blue. Not what I was expecting. The details of the shirt and material are nearly identical so I don’t think it’s a knock off. Posting a pic. Let me know what you guys think

The left is the 48? Have you washed or dry-cleaned the 50?

camera lighting probably isn't helping. Looks to me that the 48 looks closer to the 'navy' polos I've seen before, and the colour of the 50 has lost/ faded somewhat.

The right is the 50. It’s only been washed once, to be honest I’ve only worn it two or three times. It should be lighter in color after a wash though?

Could be my own bias or just that particular photo but the 50 does strike me as slightly washed out, if not a tad bit lighter. However one wash and a few wears is still unlikely to account for all the difference in colour.

Perhaps TF made multiple production runs with fabrics of slightly varying colour. Can anybody weigh in?
check the tags to see if the codes match? Maybe the colour code is different.
I think its highly unlikely to be a knock-off.

Either way, not such a bad thing to have the same shirt in two slightly different colours I like 'em both.

This is an image from the Tom Ford store... I feel that the color more closely resembles the polo on the right

The picture above of the 50it is the screen accurate Navy ... the 48it is not a true navy ... looks more like a dark royal blue ... still looks authentic and very nice!

There will be variations of this shirt in other colours for sure from pre-SPECTRE

I picked up a Sky Blue for example but it was not the same material / blend for a start

Hi, I have three of these -they are all in slightly different shades of navy blue. Sleepy soundly, they are not knock-offs. I gently hand washed one of them after wearing it once and it is the same shade as before. The other ones are unworn.

I have these in the grey, sky blue, black, white and the blue on the left. Although it's not the screen accurate blue it is a much nicer and a more vibrant blue. If you have both blues then well done.
