Probably confusing it for something else but I seem to recall a similar polo last summer, non-Sunspel with a similar name.
Someone with more time than me could find it if they look hard enough for the thread.
    a reasonable rate of return

Nope.. not confusing it Dirty Punker... this release has been around for some time.. question is.. has anyone picked one up ? Reviews ? Although in reality.. the only real connection is the name "Vesper"

I have one and like it well enough. The fit’s similar to the Sunspel but runs a little longer in the hem my experience. The material is soft, lightweight, and breathes well. I understand the disdain some here have for what’s essentially a Sunspel knockoff. But Mack Weldon has a well-deserved reputation for putting out high-quality products. In the US the Vesper runs $50 less than the Riviera.

I can't compare the fit or quality to Sunspel simply because I've never owned both. My impression is the Vesper stands alone as a quality item for the same reasons Cheverian mentioned.
    I edit, therefore I am.

The problem with the Sunspel Polo is that the color runs out rapidly. I'm very disappointed with the quality.

I totally agree! I'm actually considering trying the Mack Weldon to see how it compares with the Sunspel (especially in terms of holding the color).

I hate the fact that they placed the logo on the left back side, this was the reason I held off from picking one

Yeah, that location for the logo does suck. It would hit around the lower rib or upper hip depending on your height.

I just don't like visible brand logos... Like how Matchless pissed all over the Morocco jacket with their gaudy badge on the sleeve.. putting their logo on the exterior of the polo but NOT right on the chest is at least a plus..

They've not just copied the Polo, even the website looks similar.

Bleh! I guess I'll wear these with jackets.

That's funny, I own two of these and I never even noticed the logo until you mentioned it.
