Need advice on TF Solden jacket

I bought 2 years ago the TF Solden jacket and have not worn it yet.
Today, I find it a bit tight, especially around the chest.
For those who bought the Jacket, does the wool stretches a bit over time?

Whats your chest size?
What size did you buy?
What do you intend to wear under it?
I'll be able to answer your questions better once i have that information.

My chest size is 40" and I bought a size 48.
I'm planning to wear it with a Polo or a t-shirt.

Personally if all the other measurements are good especially the shoulders i would stick with the 38 as it will stretch a little over time. If i remeber correctly The Mantis is a 40 and he went for a 48 because he wanted a closer fit.
