As requested a new post following the message I received from the Y-3 communication manager.
I'm now discussing directly with the Y-3 director Gregor Abenstein.
I hope he will agree to reissue the jacket.
Anybody interested by this jacket please post a message. We have to show them how deadly serious we are.

Isn't Adidas a German company? The Euro value back in 2008 was €1 for every $1.47 so it was just over $404.
Has the director that you were forwarded to said that he would certainly do a reissue if a certain number is met? And if so, what is that number? Otherwise we might be jumping the gun a bit, although I will say, I didn't expect it to even get this far, so props to you for your efforts. If you get an official word from the director of operations that will most likely help for everyone here to know that they can take this idea seriously and raise their hand if they want one.
My only concern is the timing...I would hate to see a lot of people drop out of Mantis' tf polo project to snag a y-3 instead. See if you can get an official word from y-3 before any more confusion or any derailment ensues.
If there is a reissue it will take time, maybe months .
Until then it cost nothing to post a message confirming that you are interested, this is not a pre-order.
We have to be optimistic.
I think there would be a few months between them at least should this get off the ground. Plus, while I would spend $400-500 on a jacket I truly wanted I can't financially or mentally justify spending that (more in fact) on a single polo shirt. I really don't think it would be an either/or situation for many people.
I agree. The polo project is well underway - TF is starting their design process - whereas this one is still in the very early discussion stage. They'll be months between payments if this one works out. Also as the polo goes with the jacket, I'm sure people would want to grab both.
Maybe a list is in order to get idea / keep track of potential numbers?

It's just minister of war (wife) looking at spending as we're getting 2 new cars.The one for kids reasonably priced but mine not cheap.
