Hello,
For sale here is a size medium Kingsman x Mr Porter 'Merlin' waxed-cotton field jacket in black watch tartan. I'm posting this as other items from this franchise have been sold and discussed on here, namely the Cutler & Gross glasses.
This is the jacket of choice for Mark Strong's(close friend of DC) character in the Kingsman film series and represents a slightly more refined alternative to the Barbour Beacon(Commander, To Ki To) both in terms of build quality and look(this is simply my opinion as a result of having owned both). This is sold out everywhere, and remains unworn, with its original hang tags, though they are no longer attached to the jacket.
As with most of the pieces I've sold here, I bought this, tried it on, ripped the tags off a proceeded not to wear it as my personal style took a sharp turn into another direction. Though I don't necessarily see myself in this anymore, I would be blind not to recognize that it is a fine piece, both in appearance and quality(Made in England by Mackintosh). For those on the slimmer side of the size M spectrum, fret not; this jacket features a belt at the waist to cinch it as well as being optionally worn in 'twin track' configuration, as pictured(with a 2-3in wide strip of matching fabric affixed to either zipper on the front), or buttoned using the underlying horn buttons and forgoing that piece, bringing everything in by a further 2-3 inches. Finally, one can also zip it without the centre strip, as one would any zippered jacket.
Finally, the sleeves feature two different adjustment options to cinch the sleeve near the wrist, in the form of a small strip of waxed-cotton with two buttons to snap onto. The very end of the sleeve is finished in the same(very soft) brown leather of the collar.
The measurements are the following:
Shoulders: 18 in
Underarms: 22 in
Sleeve: 25.5 in
Back: 30 in(without collar), 32 in (with)
Cheers
