Does anyone know the mill that sourced TF the Mexico City suit fabric?

I'm trying to find the mill and fabric Tom Ford used for the Mexico City suit. Is that a propriety to TF fabric or can we hunt that down from the source mill? I have the suit but I think I'd like the option of making it a three piece. I know the fabrics won't be an exact match due to different bolts but I don't mind too much - it's a new suit and the difference probably won't be too dramatic.
I haven't called TF to ask about a custom vest. But I suspect it'd be more than I'd like to pay for a vest (more than $600).

Are you just assuming it was VBC because Oliver Wicks sells a suit in a very similar cloth? VBC makes a similar cloth, as do other mills. Similar is not going to cut it. The Tom Ford buy book didn't specify an S number like it did for other suits, so it's likely not even a Super wool.
It's certainly close but the houndstooth size seems wrong as does the pattern of the panes. But I'm not sure. TroyIkeda, I'd love the contact info. Seems better than spinning wheels with speculation.
That's the one that Oliver Wicks has. The houndstooth here has a repeat of 17 instead of 13. The overcheck here is a triple stripe while it's a single solid stripe on the Tom Ford.
Tell him Troy referred you. He'll be able to get you all the info on fabric, MTM, pricing etc.... -{
Lastly. VBC seems to be flirting with an infringement, imo. Not my area of law though.
It's a classic Prince of Wales check, just in blue instead of the more typical grey or brown. I usually see it in blue in a finer scale with a more subtle overcheck. Tom Ford didn't come up with the design.
And as for Zegna, their factory makes the Tom Ford suits (which are nothing like Zegna suits), so it makes complete sense that the Zegna mills make Tom Ford suitings as well. You wouldn't see Zegna offering this fabric because it's exclusive to Tom Ford, and they tend towards more original patterns whilst Tom Ford's cloths follow classic English style.
Well they both have buttons. They have that in common.
