I was in London on Friday, and dropped into their Mayfair store. The manager told me that they are restocking the DAF shirt, the Anders Safari shirt and the Goldfinger Onesie in July. She said that they weren't restocking the Thunderball long sleeve.

And on the espadrille front, Welshie, I am normally a size 8 1/2 for almost everything. Tried the size 9, and they were slightly too big. The size 8's were slightly tight, but not uncomfortable, but as others have mentioned, they should stretch. Anyway, hope to be seeing you on Wednesday, so you can give them a test drive then!

They seem to have restocked many of the popular pieces already. Long sleeve Thunderball in many sizes, for example, including mediums.

Yes many had the same issue. Just use the attached extra button in the inside label and have your tailor open another hole at the bottom of the shirt

The UK site does, and very efficiently too with great customer service. Not sure about the US or European sites though.

    My quick thoughts:
    - AVTAK jacket is nice but I had to size up: I'm normally M with OB (39" chest) but exchanged for an L as M tight across the shoulders
    - Polo pricey but nice. I had always assumed this was a John Smedley who still do similar designs in Merino and Sea Island Cotton which I have worn for years. That said, I do recommend this very high quality merino polo for GB215: https://shop.permanentstyle.com/collections/frontpage/products/the-dartmoor-sweater
    - If you are in the US, check Mr Porter in the UK for price and availability. I got the AVTAK jacket for GBP245 = $311 all in rather than the $475 at Mr Porter US or direct from OB. Importing doesn't gain a discount for all Mr Porter purchases but it's always worth checking.

Tried on all sorts in Selfridges yesterday on my journey back home

    1) Selfridges have the Skyfall setters in stock. They have the 007 / Orlebar label so a little diff then the originals. Amazed to see these since Orlebar store didnt have them

    2) I was expecting to be a XXL in the shirts but XL fitted - looks like I will have to return some of the shirts I have waiting back home

    3) The exception was the AVTAK jacket. They only had a XL but it was too tight in chest.

    4) Didnt expect to like the Safari but it fitted me well in XL

    5) They had the Onsie in my size - was tempted to try on for shits and giggles but didnt haha

Was sent a VIP early access to the Skyfall Setter. I'm doubtful on the sizing and will measure myself later back at home. Nevertheless, should any of you gents not have it yet, the item in question should be available to the general public soon. Stay vigilant!

Don't me wrong they're obviously nice albeit overpriced swim trunks at £145 but at £195 I'd say there are better Bond items to spend you're money on! How is the sizing on these trunks?

    I love OB's stuff, but they are seriously trying to gouge us with the prices of all the Bond items. OB is great stuff, but they are starting to creep into TF price ranges now. No thanks. -{

I really like OB but after my latest 007 orders from them I'm not sure I'll be buying direct from them again. There are enough 3rd party vendors that sell their items at more of a discount. I emailed them after buying the TB Polo and some other things from the line and mentioned the other vendors selling at a discount. I asked for a partial refund (which of course they have every right to refuse to give me and that's fine) but in their response they just flat out ignored my question....

In (slight) defense of OB: limited production runs are always more expensive than full production runs. Sourcing the fabrics, cutting and sewing, etc. will cost more due to lower volumes. Plus the additional marketing costs to promote the limited edition collection. And/or licensing fees. So I'm usually not surprised when a capsule collection costs 10% to 20% more than a brand's standard offerings, depending on what's involved and the pieces included.

Having said that, I really like OB, but (imho) they are overpriced to begin with. And I have no doubt they enjoy healthy margins already. Bumping up the price on something like the Setters by 10% wouldn't be unreasonable to me. But 25%? When they're using an existing pattern and basically just have to feed the new material into the manufacturing process without any re-tooling? That's excessive.

But then again, they're stuff sells. So what do I know? :D

I love OB gear, in fact I own over 50 items of their clothing. I’ve come close but I’ve managed to resist the Bond collection. The prices are just too expensive for my liking.
    Yes. Considerably!

They absolutely are. The value certainly isn’t there for a lot of the Bond stuff. I got the Thunderball and DAF shirts but just wasn’t able to pull the trigger on the merino polo - it was hard to justify paying that price for OB and with imitation MOP buttons to boot. I did have an itch for a similar shirt and ended up instead purchasing a merino long sleeve polo from Tom Ford which, funny enough, after discount ended up being GBP295 - the exact price of the OB Thunderball polo :))

I was originally going to buy one or two pieces of the 007 OB collection (Thunderball Polo & Goldfinger swim shorts) however I am off to Cancun and Florida in August and since I get 20% off (no VAT) I ended up buying the lot except the Onsie and Safari jacket.

I have been away from home and my OB packages were waiting for me so I could not resist popping into Selfridges and trying on the collection including the Safari shirt / Jacket. Tempted but I resisted a private try of the Onsie in the fitting room :))

Here are some pics of mine (mix of Selfridges and my own purchased when I got home)

Thunderball Polo XXL - sized up in this one. Very luxurious but feels so delicate also! I think this garment would need a fair bit of care and must say its probably the most overpriced of the collection. I saw its price in dollars and thought "holy ****!"

AVTAK Jacket - XXL. Tried on the XL in Selfridges (largest they had) and was glad I sized up in this one as tight on the chest. Pic is XXL at home

Golden Gun Safari - did not order this one but I surprisingly really liked it, however not sure where I would wear it.

OHMSS - XXL. Too big for me so sending back, very cool idea / choice though from Orlebar!

Dr No Robe - XL. Love it but man its heavy!!!! Think it would bring down my wardrobe rail :D

Dr No Polo - XXL. Prob wouldn't wear this except the beach / Pool in a hot exotic location lol So vibrant and comfy. Love the rib details on collar and arm banding.

Thunderball Shirt XL and Shorts 36 - Love this one, perfect for the holiday

Thunderball Swim Shorts 34 - cool but I will send back for 36 (experimented with this one to see if I could size down)

DAF shirt XL - also ordered a XXL since knew this one was in demand (before I knew of restock). XL wears perfect, did not try XXL and returning. Also tried on a friends L and it worked also due to the stretchy fabric, however it was not as comfy so went with the XL as shown below.

Thunderball Espadrilles UK 11 - cant get my feet in all (as shown below) size 12 on the way!!!

Smedley has a good option as well. It’s a Bond brand, has some heritage, costs a fraction of the OB (and TF), and the quality is probably at least as good.

Smedley's quality is fantastic. Their Noah polo is a good stand-in for the Spectre polo.

    I forgot about JS clothing actually. Thanks for the reminder and I agree it's great quality clothing and much cheaper than OB. -{
