A few days late, but congratulations!
“What is your occupation?”
“That’s not the sort of thing that looks good on a form."
The road chase scenes were apparently filmed near Navene on the south east coast of Lake Garda.
The tunnel chase scene was filmed between Limone and Riva Del Garda on the West Bank. The tunnel does have a name (don’t know what it is). Apparently Mussolini had the tunnels built so that he could get round his Mistresses and the tunnels are named after them.
Tomorrow I have a 007-themed party at work (no I had nothing to do with picking the theme but I did help with some extra decoration). The party starts at 16.00 hours and I am wondering what to wear. I do not want to wear a dinner jacket as a dinner jacket is considered evening wear. Just wearing my Orlebar Brown Setters might also not be the best idea. I do not have time to find/buy a fancy costume so I will have to make do with what I already have.
Most people will not know that a lot of my clothes and outfits have at least some Bond connection. The shoes I wear the most are my Ryder III's, I wear an SMP or AT most of the time, most of my ties are T&A, etc. So what to do? Just wear a nice suit with a nice tie (I am thinking of a grey rope stripe suit, light blue shirt and navy grandine tie; a variation on the Skyfall London suit)? Any other ideas?

That's something I really like about collecting Bond's wardrobe is unless you're wearing a dinner jacket the vast majority of it wont be recognized as Bond's clothing. The opposite of going out wearing Ryan Gosling's 'Drive' jacket or something else that is so immediately identifiable.
Bumping this because I like to see how people mix their pieces.
I’ve got Mack Weldon vesper navy polo, Levi’s 5 pocket twill khaki color, loake trappers, a Seiko samurai watch, and a belstaff k racer jacket along with a braided suede navy belt.
Definitely inspired by Craig cr/qos looks. Getting our first tastes of spring so tomorrow I may bring out my similar Brioni linen shirt for a DAD look. What about you guys?
My riviera polo will be getting its first wear since last year, also be breaking out my sand colour jeans ala talamone. I still definitely fall back more to a qos spring summer look still, even after all these years.
Definitely! In spring I'm wearing the Mack Weldon and sunspel polos typically with chinos or 5 pocket Levi twills. I also wear my Terry Orlebar brown polos quite a bit. What I hate is all those items I have to wash separately and no dryer, just lay flat to dry. I've got cats so it's hard to find a spot! Definitely first world problems. I can dry the vesper polos though so that's nice.
Then when it's linen season that's a whole other story!

Yes me too - still the best Bond wardrobe and the easiest look to wear and feel as though you’re not wearing a costume. This weekend it’ll be Sunspel riviera and Levi’s sta-prest for me. -{

Wash Separately to me means "wash with similar colours" as I am not going to wash every polo, jeans and/or shirt on its own. Has worked great for me for years and only the sunspels have to be dried flat, really. Babying a utilitarian article like clothing is just not for me and is usualy not really necessary.

Today, a honeymooning UNCLE27 is sporting a Navy Sunspel Polo in front of an interesting looking tunnel at Lake Garda...
I can't remember if that tunnel has a name but it's near Navenne if memory serves. Enjoy your downtime UNCLE27, and Italy.
