I'm the one who tried to purchase the Barbour Commander from him last November. I sent him payment but did not receive the jacket. I was able to get about half of my money back after filing a dispute with PayPal.

I will admit I was tempted to give him another chance when I saw he was selling those items but something told me not to and I am glad I didn't. You know that saying, " Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. "

Did you use the "send money to friend" option?

IIRC I did not, I used the " normal " purchase option.

Well he agreed to allow me to make a few payments, like a lay-a-way plan. PayPal requires the date and amount of payment and I had a few of them so admittedly it was a bit convoluted. I'm sure I could have gotten the rest of it back but I figured some was better than nothing.
