Apart from Aki’s Car in YOLT, has Toyota been associated with Bond? And the actor has a very different haircut - most of DC’s stunt doubles have looked much more like him. I think we may be making five out of two and two (though I’d be happy to be proved wrong).

Actually, not to question your judgement but is it definitely not? When I look at them again they don't look hugely dissimilar, do they..? And the two letters-sticker-six numbers look isn't hugely different from Norway's two letters-sticker-five numbers thing, surely?
It doesn't look a million miles from this one to me, for example:

You may be right. It looks like an older model Norwegian number plate. BUt we have five numbers, this one has six. The two letters signify the county, but no cars have the letters OQ. The sticker between the letters and the numbers was mandatory until 2011, I think. A fake number plate for the movie, perhaps even to show it's an old car?

Im sure all will come clear on this in time but why would the Aston and Toyota be in the same scene and Bond not drive the Aston?

The only thing i can think of is maybe Bond arrives to a building at this location in the Toyota and switches vehicles to the Aston in a similar style to that in Skyfall. The only thing is, its only then 1 occupant in the Aston not 2 / 3?... ;)

Either that or Bond isn't at any point in the Toyota, which is my gut feeling as i totally agree about the haircut and look of the stuntman in the Toyota. Plus im 99.9% confident the driver in the Aston is Ben Collins who doubled for Craig's stunt driving at the beginning of QOS. But then again Mark Higgins, who is in the Toyota, was Craigs stunt driver in Spectre :s

Having said all that, i dont know many movie henchmen that go on chases like this with their family in the car :))

All just talk and as i mentioned im sure whatever has been shot will look fantastic on screen and form nicely with the story.

    The excitement builds and long may it continue -{

1 thing i would add is i think we've not got a title as im convinced it will give part of the plot away or be the villians name.

Hence why we've not had all the main cast's names either. Does this then mean it may be based on a Fleming story and if the title is revealed we would all know more of the plot and story then the producers want us to know at this point?

    Just thinking out loud :D

Yeah the wrong number of numbers thing and fictional county code do certainly count against it, yes. It's hard to say, because otherwise it's a pretty similar plate- as you say it is a twenty year old car, so who knows? I guess we'll have to wait and see! :)

This photo, along with the one of the driver in the Aston Martin are intriguing!

It’s hard to imagine another character but Bond driving the Aston. So I think we’re right assuming it’s him.

    But this couple...

The man’s hair seems too long for Craig even with CGI facial work. But if filmed from a distance? Maybe.

And the woman seems like she might be trying to disguise herself with her hair in that kerchief. And is it possible that’s the Billy Reid reversible jacket she has on? It seems oversized, possibly rolled at the cuffs.

    I love a mystery.

It's getting more likely that the frozen lake scene and the Atlantic Sea Road scenes are closer connected then I thought. The reason is the doll in the back of one of the cars. "Barnedukke" is open to interpretation, a litteral translation is "clild doll". I think the doll stands in for the girl on the lake.

If you look on YouTube at the stunt doubles rehearsing the boat chase in Spectre, the double for Lea Seydoux also wore a hairnet and large coat over her costume, then took them off when they did the final shot...

The Toyota Land Cruiser is a Colorado model c.1997-2000.

Does anyone know where is next on the shoot schedule?

Is it more interiors at Pinewood? Or Italy, London, back to Jamaica or elsewhere?...
Dont know where Craig currently is? Because of his 2 weeks off, does he still need to finish his interior shots at Pinewood first before moving on?..

Doubt its the latter as locations shoots once dates are agreed are normally pretty set ?:)

It's also an old car. Perhaps that and the Aston are from another flashback

Just a shot in the dark:

We assumed that Billy Magnussens character will be sort of a traitor or at leastsecretky wanting to achieve some personal benefits. What if that’s the case because it‘s HIS family that got kidnapped?
Maybe even by SPECTRE because they know he‘s got connections to Leiter and can get Bond out of ‚hiding‘...
The name is Walker by the way.

I thought they were using the 80s Aston in this scene? And that 4wd looks old to me, but I guess not.

Haven't seen the two cars following either. Oh well.

I would also caution against thinking the 80's Aston has to be a part of a flashback due to it's age. The 60's Aston wasn't, after all. I think it's more of an Easter egg for fans.

Hmmmmmmm, I have a theory here. The helicopter was seen filming the Aston Martin driving alone. The helicopter also filmed the Toyota being chased by two Land Rovers. I wonder if during the Toyota/Rover chase is when Madeline is killed and forgive me for saying, but the child to. This may happen at any point in the film. The Aston comes into play like this. The Aston being driven had a production run from 1986-1989. Maybe Madeleine was born in 1986-1989 and Bond buys the Aston to remember the year his true love was born. Lea Seydoux was born in 1985. The scene with the Aston on the Atlantic sea road could be Bond going back to the site of Madelines death. He's going back to lay some roses and say goodbye. He'll name is car Madeline or Maddy. Just my theory.

I would be surprised if we are getting that level of sentimentality in a Bond film directed by Fukunaga, especially he had a hand in the script....but anyone's guess is as good as mine.

Looking through those videos and pictures I think the Aston Martin filming is completely separate to the Toyota Land Cruiser/Range Rover filming.

I think the clue to all this is in that UK tabloid The Mirror story about an underwater frozen lake fight scene with DC.

I still think the young girl, Malek stunt man frozen lake scene is a Madeleine flashback. I think young Madeleine jumps into the lake and drops a McGuffin there. Maybe a vial of something or a formula on a CD or some other data medium.

I think the Aston Martin, with Bond, is going to that frozen lake location - in the 'present'. Looking at the dotted face DC stand-in's sunglasses they look like the sunglasses DC has worn before.

I think the Toyota Land Cruiser/Range Rover filming is the scientist and his family going to the frozen lake area, also in the present, because he knows something important is there, but doesn't get there because the Russian mafia/Spectre agents capture them.

I suspect the scientist may have a dodgy background and may have had dealings with Quantum/Spectre. Maybe the Colorado model c.1997-2000 of Land Cruiser is some link to another flashback we'll see of Mr White meeting with the scientist?

I agree with Number24, crop destroying genetically engineered insects, or some other blight, would be a good WMD for Bond25.

Is the scientist a Porton Down scientist who sells GMO insect secrets for cash?

Its interesting that there are two Toyota Land Cruisers seen in this video. I guess that's in case they crash one.

As for the Rami Malek not being available to film his scenes with DC reports. Again, with digital/CGI technololgy this is not an issue. It's so easy to have them film the scene separately and splice it all together later.

You have some very interestig ideas. I don't think I've seen the idea of the mcguffin dropped in the lake before , and thesame goes for cars on the Atlantic Sea Bridge being in seperate scenes.

There’s a photo of some extras with a makeup continuity photo in shot saying ‘Cuban dancer’. Make if that what you will :)

It's been a while since I believed B25 would film more in Rauma or elsewhere in this county. If they were the production would have moved more or less directly from The Atlantic Sea Road to Rauma since the locations are so close, much like the way Black Widow moved from Sæbø to Rauma. It only takes about thirty minutes to drive between the two locations. If B25 is filming more in this region there must be a particular reason for waiting with the next location, such as scenes that require so much acting from the principal cast they can't use CGI face replacement.
I guess it's a good sign that the rally champion Petter Solberg wasn't spotted during the filming of Bond at the Atlantic Sea Road or Børning 3 at Trollstigen in Rauma. It was clear he had at least been contacted by a film Production, and that's the two that's involved fast driving so far.
