Whatever it is, I think Cary (and P&W, EON etc.) are changing things up for this one.. as many of the leaks aren’t making sense, maybe it’s something really different. What if the PTS is Norway, and is actually a preview of the end of the story (without the Finale), and then after opening credits its the story that brings you up to speed, and the PTS (does that make sense?. A bit of a journey film/story which Cary did with Beasts and True Detective. Both used flashbacks as well, in different ways, so I think it’s a bit of his thing. I also read that his trademark is having a child die, which might be the girl in Norway? Anyway, this is 100% speculation, zero intel or evidence.
I think you're right. This video has a nice explanation of the MP7. From the Dailyl Mail pictures it looks like Lashana doesn't have the suppressor. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sjt62h56x-E
The latest 007 shoot is being called cursed because of a number of accidents. Are you scared of going on set?
I’ve filmed in Jamaica and a bit in London and I’ve got to say, I was having a ball. I’m really looking forward to finishing some scenes after Westworld. There have been a couple of hiccups on set but nothing to worry about. It’s been great to return to the series because although there’s a lot of expectations, and these films are huge undertakings, there’s a close-knit community among the people who work on them. It has the atmosphere of an independent film but with much bigger bells and whistles.
Who should replace Daniel Craig as the next 007?
People are way ahead of themselves on this. We should all just chill for a bit. Let’s enjoy this film before we cast the next one.
It's not so surprising if they're doing scenes that were supposed to have been shot in Jamaica or at Pinewood shortly afterward. Craig's injury threw a wrench into the spring shooting schedule.

I'm interested in if they, Ana, Malek and Wright, are all in scenes together, or if Malek is going to be in a Cuba scene. We all think Leiter will be in Cuba, and Ana, who is actually Cuban, would seem to be a good choice for a Cuban Bond girl.
And if DC's injury meant the Jamaican filming was cut short, is Leiter and others going back to Jamaica?
That MP7 in the pic looks as though it might be a stunt gun as the suppressor looks bent to me. Also the spare mags seem to be stuck backwards into the mag pouch; not good for a swift mag change...
I've been thinking about the structure of the film, based on clapperboards, what's been shot in Norway, Jamaica, London, and Matera, etc.
One of the few plot line we've been given for NTTD is Bond comes out of retirement, and it's clear some time has passed since he left the service.
I know a lot of people here have said Bond films don't do flashbacks. People have also said the clapperboards indicate Matera comes half an hour into the movie. It can't be the PTS, etc.
That may be.
But isn't the logical story line this?
1. Matera is Bond and Madeleine riding off into the Spectre sunset to enjoy a new life together. But Blofeld and his crew won't let that happen. Boom! Bloodshed! They split.
2. Five years later (or however long) Bond is living the bachelor life in Jamaica, spearfishing red snappers, picking up honeys at the local club, and yachting about. Felix shows up to say, "Hey, buddy, we need you back." Bond says no. Until someone burns his cabana down.
3. Presumably the Cuba stuff.
4. Bond, battered, visits the Scoobies in London.
Whether these sequences happen chronologically in the film is up for grabs. (I'm not suggesting Cary is doing using a Pulp Fiction structure for NTTD.) But from a story standpoint it makes a lot more sense than other possibilities I've seen floated here.
I come here looking for spoiler updates and I see a lot of guesses on the movie....
My apologies.
There are no threads here for speculating about the movie based on spoiler information. These sorts of discussions certainly don't belong in the Craig is Back thread.
I'm not sure where else to discuss the movie as it's being filmed unless the mods want us to open yet another thread which I doubt that do.

Could the 3 actually be an 8? Or there could be a 1 in front of the 3? Or 1 in front of an 8?
37C,
87C,
137C,
187C,
Unlikely as it fits with the other clapperboard numbers we have seen for the Matera chase sequence.

Well he would have done; there's sure to be studio stuff no matter where it's set.
Is this even the first of his three Bond movies that he's filmed outside of the UK for? Or was all of the CR studio stuff filmed in Prague? I forget.

He likely means Pinewood when he says London. We know they filmed Cuba scenes there so that explains his presence there.

Interesting that we now have Ana, Malek and Jeffrey all going back to do scenes.
) ) ) Looks like she’s a better shot as well. No red dot scope for her.
