what do you think about the looks of Black Widow 24?
I know you normally don't like these comic book movies, but are you going to see this one?
I'm not really a fan of superhero Movies, but I'll probably watch this wone. One of the reasons is the fact that at least one of the scenes is filmed not far from here.
These show the Aston Martin driving, one assumes to the train station, after surviving the ambush with its bullet proof glass and behind-the-headlight cannons.
.... Nomi is possibly an enemy and not a friend of Bond's.
I been wondering about Nomi.
There was the recent interview with the director that claims the films borrows from OHMSS, YOLT, and Goldeneye. Goldeneye?!!? what have we seen in the trailers at all reminiscent of Goldeneye?
A: Goldeneye was the only previous Bond film with two double oh's.
Though given that, I'd rather they did not repeat a plot twist they've already done. Surely they have enough imagination to come up with a second plot involving two double oh's.

Billy Magnussen's CIA agent Logan Ashe is believed to be the turncoat because he drives a Land Rover Defender and we know they chase Bond and Madeleine, so I find it hard to believe that we'll get two traitors but early Spectre drafts did include 'paranoia and suspicion' between MI6 and the CIA, and there is evidence that NTTD is using a lot of those early Spectre ideas.
Lashana Lynch says: “Her personality, for me, wouldn’t necessarily fit into ‘the perfect agent,’ but when you get to know her, then you understand why she’s gotten into the work that she has.”
I would have thought that Nomi would be a perfect well behaved agent who does what she's told unlike Bond who is typically insubordinate and screws up a lot. I can't imagine we'll get a lot of backstory to Nomi, so how will we understand why she's in the work she's in? Double agent?
James Bond Radio has an interesting episode with Matt Chernov, who writes for Variety. Lucky chap. Matt is also lucky enough to have been taken to an NTTD location in Jamaica care of a Jamaican tourist board press trip. You can listen to the full JBR report here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_IWW_8kKls
The spoiler bit is that Matt was taken to a runway where an aircraft takes off in the film. We know now that Nomi is a pilot and so it may well be her flying something and not Bond. It also adds to the number of aircraft in the movie. We already knew about the seaplane that flies over the exploding boat, we have the swing wing glider, the C-17 that it launches from, and the helicopter in the Land Rover chase, and now we have an aircraft that can use a runway, so it's not another seaplane.
Back in February, we learned Safin has RAF Panavia Tornado gearbox capsules in his lab, so maybe he hijacked a jet. Perhaps Nomi happened to be piloting at the time.

Looking at the pictures in that Instagram post I'd say they just wanted random tech that looked like it should be in a laboratory that is mass producing a bio-weapon, rather than have Safin steal a Tornado fighter. The mind boggles as to why Safin would want to hijack a two-seater fighter, bomber so he can have bits of it in his lab. The gearbox capsule looks more like it is for transporting the deadly chemical vials than an airborne deployment device using Tornados to release the toxin into the atmosphere.

I agree. Could just be that they wanted an interesting military-looking big tank/storage box to fill some room in the set. Also, see the below link—the company who provided the capsule (as per that Instagram post) are commonly called on by film and TV production for set dressing, including past work for Pinewood. So it probably just got picked at random from their warehouse; nothing plot-wise to do with a Tornado.
I am a little late to the game, but was wondering whether someone could point me to a post (or more) here or a site I could access online which has behind the scenes photos (more than the official production stills)? I keep reading people mention "unofficial" or "leaked" bts photos, but haven't been able to get my hands on them. Thanks!

It confirms that the PTS is Norway, not Matera, and also confirms Michael Wilson's comment that it is a long PTS; "The extended pre-credit sequence (shot in Norway), in which Safin hunts down victims on a frozen lake, will play in IMAX".
It also says of Safin's Russian mine lair: "Perhaps the biggest-scale nod to the franchise’s storied past is a gigantic underground set. The set might bring to mind production designer Ken Adam’s creation of Blofeld’s base inside a volcano in You Only Live Twice (shot by Freddie Young, BSC) and SPECTRE’s colorful garb in that film."
We see from the NTTD trailer that the algae farm workers wear red and in YOLT the workers on the rocket also wear red.

Pondering why there was alleged filming in the English channel with a Royal Navy ship, it's occurred to me that that could be the destination for Bond, Nomi, Madeleine and possibly a clone child in the RIB that we saw in the unofficial BTS photos from the rocky beach filming in Italy - with the ship supposedly in the Pacific and not in the English channel, obvs.
I wonder if the end for Bond, which Craig says he had in mind, was Bond going back to the navy as a solution for the security he and his new family of Madeleine and Clone child will need? Will Craig's arc end with a final shot of Bond back in his naval uniform?

That would be a pretty cool ending, but would be kind of ridiculous story wise. Bond leaves a job that has him away from home for months on end for a job that would have him away from home for months on end. Not the greatest for one wanting a lot of family time.
I can't see Bond settling as a family man with a a nine to five job anyway, but I think working in the navy may work better in relationship with Madeleine.
Really hope we don't get a family situation e.g, Madeline pregnant, clone child. (But think we might |) Not where I would like Bond to go and would make continuation/tie-in difficult and awkward with the next film/actor. We don't need another secret agent with domestic ties. Leave that to other films and TV Series.

I don't think Madeleine will get pregnant, I think they can grow the clones outside of human bodies. One of the TV spots appeared to show Bond or Nomi walking past containers that appeared to have bodies in them.
It seems like the goal with each subsequent Bond is no longer to up the action from the previous one but rather to up the personal angle. This suggestion of Bond ending up with a family is sadly plausible.
First time on the forum and pleased to share my passion with you !
About the rumours surrounding the movie, the main one which really concerns me is of course a possible ending with the death of Bond.
For the first time ever, I don't know what to expect. On one hand, I know it would destroy the spirit of the series if it happened because the question whether Bond is supposed to die or not is off topic, but on the other hand, the atmosphere of the movie seems so strange and dark (we can feel it in the trailer and the various TV spots) that I have big doubts, especially when we know it will be Craig's last one...
Furthermore, what Seydoux said about the movie after she saw it worries me a lot. What does she mean by "I bet you'll cry"? Even the ending of OHMSS didn't make me cry (although I admit the despair of Bond after Tracy's death is one the saddest moments in the series).
I just hope they won't make it real! What do you think guys ?
I suspect the French cry more easily than most of us. The reasons are many, including but not restricted to garlic

Perhaps you're right ! But I still think there's something behind this sentence. Given Bond retires and leaves with Madeleine at the end of SP, I can hardly imagine a similar ending for NTTD. Fukunaga and Malek also confirmed the film had an emotional aspect never seen before. Add to that the mysterious label "The 25th film will change everything" from some TV spots and you get another (fake ?) clue...
Since the beginning of the DC era, a lot of changes have been brought to the franchise. Most of them were useful after the DAD disaster (except for having made the character a non-smoker; on that point, I love so much Fleming's portrayal of Bond). Let's just hope the producers and the writers didn't push it too far like Disney did with Star Wars.
I guess such an ending would displease every true Bond fan. To be honest, even the possible death of Felix would bother me a little.
It's more likely that Madeline will be the one to be killed off and maybe that occurs at the end of the film. I haven't seen the trailer as always like to see the films first. But why the need to kill any of the 'good guys' off? How many of the audience want to see that? Vesper, Mathis, M. Why the need to kill someone off each time?
The ambiguity angle of the hero's death works well in films such as 'Rambo: Last Blood' and 'The Dark Knight Rises'. Maybe they'll do something similar with NTTD.
