cinematography looks on point, the last scene where it seems that he get hit by the car really scared me haha but then I was like: easy, bond will be bond
Oh my Just had a new 75" TV delivered today and the trailer dropped just as I had finished setting it up—the very first thing I watched on my new screen!
IMO the first trailer was much better. I think from this one we can see the feminist strong woman angle being played out, with a female 00 and Ana de Armas 5ft 0, beating up several guys. Is it just me or does the Safin role also seem very similar to that of Blofeld??
I thought the feminist stuff was less strong in this trailer IMHO with Nomi coming across more likeable and Croag telling whoever he was on talking to on the phone, presumably M, that he'd me the new 00.

The presence of a Royal Navy Type 45/Daring-class destroyer and the few "Commander Bond"s we've heard being thrown around makes me really hope we'll finally get to see Craig's Bond in uniform...it probably won't happy but hey, there's always a chance.
Too much new stuff, I’d much sooner have not seen it
Looks great but maybe revealed too much
Really? Huh.
My wife (who's a Bond fan) just watched it and said, "It's just shooting." She doesn't follow these boards and couldn't get a sense of the story at all other than villain wants to destroy the world, Bond has to stop him.
We had Blofeld's "it will be the death of you" in the first trailer, we now have Moneypenny's "everyone tries at least once".
If you want Bond's death to constitute a real climax, you'd better not mention it before the release of the movie. I think Bond will NOT die, which is a big relief to me. Futhermore, the atmosphere seemed darker in the first trailer. Perhaps they wanted to remind the audience Bond is still Bond, despite all the rumors...
Concerning the cinematography, the final shot with the car is just breathtaking. Visually speaking, the movie seems outstanding. Great job Fukunaga !
Obviously trailers have so much that goes into their construction designed to sway opinion, but more than ever I'm confident in this film being a good one. So excited! Need to watch it more to get thoughts.
I'm really excited for this. It sounds like Safin's plot is very TSWLM/MR, which matches his lair, which calls to mind the Stromberg tanker and Drax pyramid lairs.
I guess that must be Zimmer's music in that trailer and it didn't disappoint - sounds like he is sticking with the tradition and just giving it a little edge. Love it.
thats a sweet Vesper reminiscence isnt it?

The dress is also very reminiscent of the one Anya wore in The Spy Who Loved me when in the club and during the fight with Jaws among the Egyptian ruins.
Trailer looks great; the poster on the other hand is really forgettable, just a lazy, unambitious Photoshop effort. I miss the days of hand drawn posters.

In fairness, that is more or less what every Bond film is about )
Really enjoyed the trailer. Looks action packed. I have high hopes for Rami Malek. Liked the 'I can see why you shot him' line. All round, good vibes.
The grenade part though—Bond, an amazing ex-military super spy assassin has a grenade land at his feet and instead of diving away immediately, he looks down at it with a Scooby Doo like, “ruh roh” expression.
The use of the Type 45 destroyer in the film I think may be similar to how the Eurocopter Tiger was seen in GoldenEye- product placement for 'real' military hardware. Interesting...
Silva and Blofeld had far fetched plans and vast resources, but relatively mundane ends (Silva had tremendous talent but ultimately just wanted to tear down and humilate the Secret Service/M while Blofeld was a billionaire crime lord with a worldwide racket that would totally subvert governments everywhere, but got torpedoed by his idiotic foster brother issues and rubbish lair safety design).
Here, Rami Malek's supervillain looks like he's akin to Karl Stromberg, Hugo Drax, and Richnond Valentine, a multi billionaire industrialist who has a higher calling than money laundering in card games and the Bolivian water table: he wants to usher in near global omnicide to level civilisation in order to recreate a new "perfect" society in his image.
'Alright guard, begin the unnecessarily slow moving dipping mechanism...'
Be wary of a spoiler revealed in the Spanish and Italian dubbed trailers. It regards Nomi...
OK strangely I am now curious - got a link?
Loved the video just the top up I needed this week before deploying - something to look forward to later in the year even Zero Alpha liked it when she sent me the link with smilies )
Cheers :007)
My name is Bond, Basildon Bond - I have letters after my name!

Here you go. Best of luck with your deployment! And yes, the trailer IS fantastic. [url]

That's funny, I had that same reaction. I even went back and re-watched the the whole DC series trailers, and it's true: this one does have quite a lot of shooting compared.

It looks amazing! I lost count of all the great cinematic shots in this trailer alone.

Given this topic is not spoiler free, I think you can say it.
The scene where Bond is on the phone, presumably talking to M. In the spanish/italian version, he says he met the "new 007".
Yeah, that's it.
Also, the Italian trailer gives the full name for Safin. I can't quite get it, it sounds a bit like Luthifer (maybe a wordplay on Lucifer).
