Concerning Safin, I wonder something. I was on this page https://jamesbond.fandom.com/wiki/Safin I was checking out the pictures of Safin and spotted something. Look at the picture of Safin standing in the woods (should be bottom center picture of the six shown). Is it just me, or does he have some white in his hair? Look at his right side very closely, right by the part. Maybe its the lighting, but looks like theres white in his hair. Theres a few more white hairs one his right side where the hair is combed back. Looking at other pictures one the page, I don't see any white in his hair. I wonder if Safin has cloned himself and the first picture I mentioned is his main body and then he has a or a few clones of himself.
Some people would complain even if you hang them with a new rope
another trailer with unseen footage (not much), and a new safin quote?
I find this to be a much better trailer...a bit snappier!
Lots of new goodies in this new trailer:
A very pretty clip of the car chase across the bridge that we have yet to see official footage of until now.
After the boat explosion and before the boat sinks fully. Note that in the sinking boat footage from the second trailer, we only see Bond swm away. Could this be the end of Felix?

His hair is slightly more speckled here than in other scenes, however it could be lighting.
looks like it was from the same photoshoot, the banner was pretty awesome if you ask me, maybe this solo-still doesn't work as well as the 3-still-bond but hey I think every life sign is a good sign, I was happy when I saw the poster today
Oh yes, I'd forgotten about that one. This makes a nice set!
Damn, this is going to be a visually stunning film. Just from those screenshots above: the bridge in Norway, Bond looking out over the water in Jamaica, the wide shot of the lab, the destroyer, the underground fluorescent light rave—beautiful.

Oh yeah, the film's going to be such a treat to see. Everything looks so sharp.
And the contrast. Just from what we've, there's so much visual contrast in the film. While I did enjoy Spectre quite a bit, the colors of that film were very bland — the beige Mexico City, the white snows, the desert, the drab London. NTTD, by comparison, has the green forest, neon lights, white snow, and Safin's base. So excited.

I agree with all the positive comments, great trailer, the latest music cues, if Zimmer's, are encouraging, the millions will die plot, it looks like the positive expectations fans had from the announcement that Fukunaga would be the director are going to be fulfilled.
As these films usually have some sort of clock like countdown, I am guessing that Bond and Naomi probably have 24h to stop Safin and they run out of time and the naval ship missiles are fired to completely destroy the lair. But will Bond get out in time?
I saw on Twitter a post that had a picture of ships that were different to the ship that fired the missiles and they claimed they were Russian ships. It looks like there is going to be some sort of big military intervention in the end.
I'd add that I wonder if the Russian ships means Safin's lair is in the disputed Kuril islands?
They look like missile fast attack boats but I can’t 100% identify them.
However did some tweaking with the screenshots and it seems the destroyer is HMS Dragon.
Easy spot as she’s a Type 45 and well, has a Dragon on the bow!
Sounds powerful, nice flourish of Bond theme at the end. Looking forward to seeing how Zimmer will tackle Bond- its one of the aspects of NTTD I'm most hyped for.
Yes, I am hyped for it as well. Zimmer has said that it's inspired by John Barry (who was a friend of his) and also has lots of guitar in it (Played by the Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr)

Craig has a comedy talent, he already proves that in Knives Out/SNL and apparently he's using that talent in the new Bond too when I think of the Salut-Scene haha
By the way, it is "Salud" in Spanish, not "Salut" B-) -{
ah! thank you
two new behind the scenes images from the "The James Bond Archives" Book
the last pictures reminds me of the "The past isn't dead"-quote which seems like a reply to his Casino Royale Bond "The Bitch is dead"
beside of that it says "Lyutsifer Safin" here

Oh, great find with the two lines connecting. The death of Vesper is the catalytic event for the psychology of Bond's whole psyche in these films, so it would make sense to link to that.
Also, love his name literally being Lucifer. Very subtle haha. Bond will fight Satan to save the world )

haha yea it has to be the devil himself who gets Bond out of his retirement, for less Bond wouldn't leave the door in 2020 )
thanks and if I see that correctly he says that line after the grave from Vesper explodes, this is not a coincidence I think

No way is it a coincidence, it's too specific and in-line with what Fukunaga has said about trauma. I think a lot of the film will (on a subtle, symbolic, implied level) be about Bond letting go of Vesper. He still carries that weight with him, as shown in Spectre, and a burden that heavy anchors him down.
So excited to get my hands on this film (whenever that is...) and explore its depths. In my recent rewatches of his four, I was surprised at how much is going on in those I hadn't noticed before.
Safiin is a terrifying villain, he doesn't have to do anything, his presence in the room alone is unsettling, I think Malek/Safin is one of the reasons why the movie could be really great, the old Hitchcock-quote works here: “The more successful the villain, the more successful the picture.” that is, among other things, the reason why CS and SF worked better than QoS and SP in my eyes

I just watched the Safin trailer again, and it occurred to me how much we've seen of NTTD and how little we've seen. A lot of the bare bones plot has been revealed but there are entire credited actors (David Dencik and Billy Magnussen, unless I missed a quick shot) who haven't even appeared. We haven't gotten much dialogue either beside a few quips and some stuff between Bond and Safin. I have a hard time gauging the "feel" of the movie from what I have seen so far. I know lots has sneaked out — or been speculated upon to the point of near-confirmation — but it's amazing how close to the vest EON has kept this.
