The colour of the Tri-Colour ‘new digs’ tie also looks purple compared to the distinctive blue interwoven with grey seen in the fil, but I’m assuming that’s down to the photo...

    Evening Gents

Sorry for late update but been driving the last few hours. So....

Obviously the payment procedure is a tf thing that I cant influence, but thanks to those above for gaining a solution.

Luigi has added to his email clarifying the box per tie situation. So check your emails...

Deposit in Luigi speak equals full amount. Cards will not be charged until we hit the required numbers for all ties. We have just over 2 weeks until 15th March deadline. Then the full amount will be taken and production will commence. The tight timescales are to get this completed before FW19 collection work begins.

The tri tie picture is actually of an original, there is (under light) a very purple tinge to the silk), the original proto was too blue but that is now resolved.

Re codes, use the code in black and white and not the one on the tie pics.

And lastly, most details were sent on a spreadsheet but late comers were emailed to luigi seperately. So if youve not heard from him message me and ill forward you his emails and resend him your details

Luigi is requesting photocopies of my passport and front and back of my credit cards. This is crazy as it against all banking policy and voids any insurace and anti fraud protection they offer on this transaction and others with this card in future.

    I’m ordering ties not firearms aren’t I ?

I haven't received an email from Luigi yet. I assume they've been sent to everyone now?

Z, sent you a copy and email him direct

Thanks I was very uncomfortable with passport and credit card copies. So to be clear you provide card details in the form and authorize the amount in the email . Do they charge card now or later
as it makes sense to let credit card provider know about transaction thanks

Ps I’ve got my form ready to go . I’ve emailed Luigi seeking confirmation of the amount for shipping
and insurance ( I’ve assumed Australia same amount as Asia).Ive also advised that passport and credit card copies not to be required. Finally I’ve asked when card will be charged ie now or on shipment in order that I can alert credit card provider cheers

Did the same thing this morning. Hopefully Australia's price isn't more than Asia.

There could be a problem I’ve just been told by Luigi that as first time user I need to provide those documents. I’m not prepared to void cover if we were hacked . Hopefully they’ll see reason

Ps I’ve emailed him back to advice that the information on this thread was that the documents weren’t required so will see what he says .
I find it very strange to take but one example i buy from Mason and Sons and nothing like this all very easy

i am still not clear on this....do we need to provide bank details on the form? For the bank transfer form there is no box to add the details? is the form just a confirmation?

    Morning all
Ive never used the bank transfer form but believe you send it to Luigi as conf you will be paying that way. When he reaches the required numbers to confirm go ahead he will email you to send payment.

The final numbers pledged for each tie were as follows -
    Pts 45
    Tri 62
    Gran 51

Luigi has restressed that deadline for order emails is 15th March. If we dont hit the minimum numbers this opportunity is gone forever. So please find the time to send your order email back asap.

We are only at a total of 28 ties so far 8-)

My order will go in this weekend. I keep finding myself waffling between the Tri-Colour and the PTS.

    why-not-both.jpg

I was set on the tri colour but looking at the picture sent by Luigi it does not look as nice and looks almost purple rather than navy which is making me wonder if I should get the PTS tie instead. Does anyone else know if the tricolour is navy blue or does it have purple in it? I am worried that how it appears on screen could be nothing like it will appear in real life.

I took a look at the Tri-Colour tie image and I can definitely see this purple sheen you're seeing but if you look toward the top left part of the image the blue looks correct based on other images I've seen of the tie. Also it seems that whoever took the picture used the flash on their camera which imagine would distort the color. In all honesty I'd be pretty angry if the TriColour is wrong as it's definitely my favorite of the 3!

Thanks Mike well let’s hope so as it’s also been my most desired tie of the three and navy is versatile for me purple is not!

There isn’t really a purple sheen on mine, it’s a dark navy to royal blue sheen depending on the light. I’ve always said that there is a difference between the narrow and wider versions of the commercial releases of this tie and the others. But it is very very minimal to say the least. So I wouldn’t worry.

I have the standard width tri-color tie. From the photo, it def looks like how the flash is hitting it. Trying to capture the tie in a photo is beyond difficult, and I seem to remember getting similar results from trying to photograph it before.

    All
    To address the tri colour
The picture is of an original not one of a TF proto that has just been made.
In reality the tie looks dark navy. But under flashlight there are 3 definite shades. But all three change shade

Navy / but its a very very rich blue with a tinge of purple
Dark charcoal / but almost a dark bottle green tinge
Grey / but lightens to silver at angles

Here is the picture of all 3 original ties before shipping to Luigi

    IMG-20181106-WA0007.jpg

It Def comes across as navy overall, but the elements change. TF, to get the right shades obviously examine it under extreme light and like the quantum ties, what you see changes up close and at different angles / lighting

Here are some very up close pics of the original tho so you can see the shades... But the above full pic is how it appears. Its a stunner!

I’ll be looking at this at the weekend, want to pay via credit card but not happy to send images of the card in question or ID!

I’ve seen some of the post saying that they shouldn’t ask for them, but need to slow down and review on Saturday all the comments and see what I should do!

On the bright side all looking good and very appreciative to 007JBDCMWR and everyone who has helped to get this off the ground!

No probs, hope that allays any fears. They are hard to capture as they change so much in light / angle
