I am in the same boat but I’m sure it’s fine. I’m guessing almost everyone had their card declined the first time. If you didn’t, might want to get a new credit card!
I made sure to call my bank a couple days ago to pre-approve it. Got some funny looks from co-workers as they heard me drop the name of Tom Ford Milan.

When I told the AMEX representative that I needed to authorize a purchase for Tom Ford Milan she said "oh...very nice" needless to say we both had a good laugh over it )
Anybody who had problems with their card get an email?
I don’t know if Luigi has tried charging my card. There’s no charge in my bank account but no warning from them either. I have tried contacting Luigi this morning just in case (as I don’t know if the transaction hasn’t happened yet or if there’s any trouble). Haven’t heard back as of yet.

I was worried all weekend as I didn't see any charges on my AMEX but I checked this morning and the purchase posted! Depending on when he submitted the transaction will affect when it posts on to your account as CC/banks take 2 to 3 days to reflect any changes.
While these ties are off getting made and we start the waiting game, I have a semi relevant question that I've been wondering for a while—how does everyone store their ties? Rolled, folded, hung up—draw, wardrobe etc?? I've amassed a pretty sizeable collection of ties over the years but I've never been sure of how to correctly store them all. These SF ties in particular, I've been hunting them for years so I want to make sure that when they arrive, they're treated well :007)

Hanging fully draped from the thin endis is the best way to store them. It’s the method recommended by Turnbull and Asser, so it’s pretty good advice. That way, they retain the flat drape. Rolled if knitted ties, as they don’t keep the roll when worn.
However, I store the screen used ones I’m not going to wear half draped full length over the trousers on the coat hanger the matching suits are on, and that’s the best way to store any tie you match to a specific suit long term. Also T&A approved. But obviously not practical if they are worn regularly with other suit combinations, but still best after rolling. Folded is not good as the crease will last and the tie will retain this for a while.

Half draped or full hung is the way to go.
Totally agree. I stored my ties rolled for a while with mixed results. Knitted and certain lighter silks did alright, but it was terrible for my grenadines and anything with more than 3 folds.
According to Luigi's first email back in Feb, the ties will be with him in Milan end of May and then they'll be sent out around first week of June...so less than a month till delivery gentlemen!! Very keen
Very excited to receive these ties! I only started collecting Bond around Skyfall and have been trying to get my hand on these ties ever since. They have been a bit of a grail item for me, so I'm counting down the days until they arrive

We should all receive our ties by the beginning of June.
I’ve got the standard width 7 fold version of this tie.
Incidentally, it was fathers' day in Spain yesterday.
Ties for fathers' day. How appropriate.

I usually wear 8cm-9cm.
I'm 6'2 230lbs.
If these are too small I might sell these here.
