I have tried to decipher and find the book on the table in this image of George Lazenby. Unfortunately I have not been able to read the title (is it The Love Warbler??), but maybe one of you could.
Well, in his defence, Lazenby certainly read the novel of OHMSS while he was filming and kept it to hand as a source of inspiration.
That's a heck of a lot more than you can say for most of the Bond actors (most of whom didn't bother to read the novels of the Bond fims they starred in, with Dalton quite excepted). -{
"The tough man of the world. The Secret Agent. The man who was only a silhouette." - Ian Fleming, Moonraker (1955).
Some actors specifically avoid reading or watching other interpretations of a script they are performing. They are working with the specific script which is being filmed and working out their characterisation with the director, goes this logic.

Me too! But still I would like to know what the book is about! Must have been on vogue at the time the photo was taken.
I would never have thought of that myself!
