Donk - been watching this one from the sidelines a fantastic end result you must be pleased it truly looks to be a labour of love. Of course a good excuse to visit BIM again this year.
Well done great effort.
Cheers :007)
My name is Bond, Basildon Bond - I have letters after my name!
Update: The helmet will be exhibited alongside Little Nellie (or at least her studio stand in) at Bond In Motion in Covent Garden, London next week. I will give a precise date when I know myself.
I think that screw on the lower left side at the rear is accurate....but that's it!!!!
Just kidding...Congratulations, John. Nice to see it reunited with Little Nellie.

Back where it belongs although 13 months behind schedule, at Bond In Motion, with the lady herself hanging above, next to the Wallis Little Nellie component part flying case which it was last seen inside in the window of Selfridges Department Store in London back in 1967 -{
Donk, so great to see them finally reunited!!
Glad that together (with my meager contribution) I was able to assist you in being able to get them back together!!!

Bad news guys (from 2020? Never!), courtesy of the Pandemic and Sadique Khan’s personal vendetta to destroy The City of London!, Bond in Motion has closed its doors for good although EON are looking for an alternate venue to exhibit their Archive goodness when things return to normality! Remember 2022 is The 60th Anniversary so regrettably Sir Sean’s Bucket has been returned to Donk’s Place in less than sunny Enfield!

When a collector passes away items will turn up again so "never" is a bold statement
(same with the word "rare" , very few items on ebay are actually rare)
That being said Im not into collection only cuz of value , have stuff that is rare but almost no value , its just joy from the items themselves

This thread ....... it's fantastic to see the helmet reunited -{
I've stood outside it. Does that count?
I had more access to the Archive and where they use to keep the cars than I could wish for :007)
If there is a meet up in London I may go and see Donk's Helmet ;%
