Some design change on the pen.
I added the waterman super 6 on the nib, made a bicolor, will be printed from silver and gold plated, and gold removed to get both colors.
I also made a separate thread, I first made a solid black plastic core, but once in hand I think the thread may be to weak for durable use, so I made a extra thread from metal, and will reduce the plastic parts on the lathe.
not sure about scale, these are two different pictures together, I will have to measure the FE pen to get sure.
I will change the design, reduce the body diameter to get a very slight step between body and cap, closer to real prop, and easier to finish .
Like one commenter said in the video, only the bullet should fire, not the casing with it. But more importantly, you don't want the bullet to actually fire at all, because you'll get in trouble!
Always have an escape plan. Mine is watching James Bond films.
the popping bullet is just to show the motion is going from bottom to top side, making firing pin moving.
I think I will design a solid bullet with a tube inside, and room for a firing cap, and use as a cap gun, noise and smoke enough to see it's working, but no real fire arm.
I have a damaged bullet to simulate a fired one.

It may also get a "colibri" engraving on the lighter cap.
I can make comparative pictures.
The cufflink desing is not based on same item, they probably based from the last existing golden gun, I based my design from original cufflinks.
