I suspected I wasn't the only person to do this! I wear mine in the car and nobody would ever know they're not the real thing. Also had some 95% dark prescription lenses put in (Bet DC didn't have these)
I also have a mint boxed pair of 108s and another pair mint boxed of 207s, and I bought a pair of the Magnoli copies (which are actually very convincing and in my view more nicely made/better quality than the 207s - but don't feel great on)

The 108s are by a long way the nicest (and the most valuable/sought after) commanding up to £2k on eBay - even the rather nasty variant (gold/gun metal) limited editions are being advertised for this kind of money - and more, but don't know if they've sold any?!

Any chance if a close up of the bridge area? Assume it left some sort of marking on the frame.
