Are you aware that I commissioned a copy of the sign from Paul Pape Designs a couple of years back and they are available, unfinished, from him?
You may prefer your own sculpt but if you don't want to go through the effort, this is quite accurate.
Bothers me that I spend a fortune with him developing this and he then made it an item you can order but not the first time that's happened (and probably not the last).

Hi PoorMansJB
Unfortunately I love a challenge and the prop making process so will continue with it no matter what obstacles but the only one I can see is shipping at the moment but I have a few ideas.
This is something I wanted for a while and now I have some time out of work I’m ready for it!
Plus I think any UK buyers will appreciate it too!
I was aware of Paul Pape’s replica but couldn’t find where to purchase it from so thanks for the link. I hope I keep my interest list of people but not a problem if they pull out for Paul’s -{
I appreciate your comments and hope you follow my progress/journey

Ya, for obvious legal reasons he had to remove it from his site but they're still available.
Who knows, maybe I'll be ordering one from you; we could never get any of his to arrive in one piece!

Is there any way to do these foam filled so they are lighter?
Was looking at slush casting and foam filling David, I am looking it to all avenues whilst sculpting but this maybe the better option.
I was also considering casting with a wood support imbedded in the polyurethane which will give it durability.
I was a sign maker for years. I have not had very good luck with foam filling/ foam casts. One good wack and they shatter. I never found it worth it. But you might have better luck than me.

Your sign looks really great!
Thanks for the feedback, I am strongly leaning towards polyurethane.
Man it looks so good! I’m so interested but currently trying to convince the wife 8-) I’m also trying to get her to allow me to change our house name to Skyfall!!!
Can you please confirm the size and will it be weather proof to have as our house name -{

Do you have any comments or concerns regarding the painting/coloring?
